Spatial Pattern and Influencing Factors of Tourism Components in Xi ， an Based on POI Data

Abstract:: Based on POI data and other multi-source data, this paper discusses the spatial pattern and influencing factors of tourism components (six components of catering, accommodation, traffic, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment) in Xi'an by using the methods of kernel density estimation, standard deviation ellipse, bivariate spatial autocorrelation (Moran's I) and geographic detector. The results show that: (1) The spatial distribution pattern of tourism components in Xi'an is "dense inside and sparse outside, dense in the south and sparse in the north", and the direction distribution presents the distribution trend of "northeast southwest"; (2) Catering, traffic, shopping and entertainment components develop in linkage in Xi'an. The spatial correlation between tourism components and other tourism components is poor, and the spatial layout needs to be optimized;(3) Traffic network, population density and night light index are the leading factors of the spatial differentiation of tourism components in Xi'an, and the distance from the administrative center is the auxiliary factor of the spatial differentiation of tourism components.
