Abstract:We prove a generalization of the Wallis product for a sequence of real numbers related to arc lengths of clover curves. Our proof generalizes a common argument given for the original Wallis product using a sequence of definite integrals.

Abstract:We study a family of moduli spaces and corresponding quantum invariants introduced recently by Fan-Jarvis-Ruan. The family has a wall-and-chamber structure relative to a positive rational parameter is an element of. For a Fermat quasi-homogeneous polynomial W (not necessarily of Calabi-Yau type), we study natural generating functions packaging the invariants. Our wall-crossing formula relates the generating functions by showing that they all lie on the Lagrangian cone associated to the Fan-Jarvis-Ruan-Witten theory of W. For arbitrarily small parameter is an element of, a specialization of our generating function is a hypergeometric series called the big I-function which determines the entire Lagrangian cone. As a special case of our wall-crossing, we obtain a new geometric interpretation of the Landau-Ginzburg mirror theorem.

Abstract:Wall-crossing formulas for various flavors of elliptic genus can be obtained using master spaces. We give a topological criterion which implies that such wall-crossing formulas are trivial. Applications are given for: GIT quotients, following Thaddeus; moduli of sheaves, following Mochizuki; Donaldson-Thomas and Vafa-Witten theory, following Joyce and Tanaka-Thomas respectively.

Abstract:We investigate the wall-crossing phenomena for moduli of framed quiver representations. These spaces are expected to be highly useful in capturing the representation theoretic essence of special functions in integrable systems. Within this class of moduli spaces, we focus on the type $A$ flag manifold, type $A$ affine Laumon spaces, Nakajima quiver variety, and framed moduli of sheaves on the projective plane and the blow-up as main motivating examples. Specifically, we examine the wall-crossing formulas for integrals of Euler classes over these moduli spaces.

Abstract:In this paper, we present an improved continued fraction approximation of the Wallis ratio. This approximation is fast in comparison with the recently discovered asymptotic series. We also establish the double-side inequality related to this approximation. Finally, some numerical computations are provided for demonstrating the superiority of our approximation.

Abstract:Dumortier and Roussarie proposed a conjecture in their paper (2009, Discrete Con. Dyn. Sys., 2,723-781): For any \begin{document}$ q\in {\mathbb{N}} $\end{document} , the Abelian integrals \begin{document}$ J_{2j+1}(h) = \int_{\gamma_h}x^{2j-1}\,\mathrm dy $\end{document} , \begin{document}$ j = 0, 1, 2, \cdots, q $\end{document} , form a strict Chebyshev system on intervals \begin{document}$ h\in (0, \frac{1}{2}] $\end{document} , where \begin{document}$ \gamma_h = \{(x, y)| \mathrm e^{-2y}(y+\frac{1}{2}-x^2) = h\} $\end{document} . If this conjecture holds, then they obtain the precise upper bound of the number of limit cycles that appear near a slow-fast Hopf point of any codimension. In the present paper we develop a method to estimate the number of zeros of Abelian integrals and prove this conjecture.

Abstract:We generalize a theorem of Bismut–Zhang, which extends the Cheeger–Müller theorem on Ray–Singer torsion and Reidemeister torsion, to the case of infinite Galois covering spaces. Our result is stated in the framework of extended cohomology, and generalizes in this case a recent result of Braverman–Carey–Farber–Mathai. It does not use the determinant class condition and thus also (potentially) generalizes several results on L2-torsions due to Burghelea, Friedlander, Kappeler and McDonald. We combine the framework developed by Braverman–Carey–Farber–Mathai on the determinant of extended cohomology with the heat kernel method developed in the original paper of Bismut–Zhang to prove our result.

Abstract:Gross-Joyce-Tanaka <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="2005.05637" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2005.05637">arXiv:2005.05637</a> proposed a wall-crossing conjecture for Calabi-Yau fourfolds. Assuming it, we prove the conjecture of Cao-Kool <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1712.07347" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1712.07347">arXiv:1712.07347</a> for 0-dimensional sheaf-counting invariants on projective Calabi-Yau 4-folds. From it, we extract the full topological information contained in the virtual fundamental classes of Hilbert schemes of points which turns out to be equivalent to the data of all descendent integrals. As a consequence, we can express many generating series of invariants in terms of explicit universal power series. i) On $\mathbb{C}^4$, Nekrasov proposed invariants with a conjectured closed form <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1712.08128" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1712.08128">arXiv:1712.08128</a>. We show that an analog of his formula holds for compact Calabi-Yau 4-folds satisfying the wall-crossing conjecture. ii) We notice a relationship to corresponding generating series for Quot schemes on elliptic surfaces which are also governed by a wall-crossing formula. This leads to a Segre-Verlinde correspondence for Calabi-Yau fourfolds.

Abstract:We show that a modular unit on two copies of the upper half-plane is a Borcherds product if and only if its boundary divisor is a special boundary divisor. Therefore, we define a subspace of the space of invariant vectors for the Weil representation which maps surjectively onto the space of modular units that are Borcherds products. Moreover, we show that every boundary divisor of a Borcherds product can be obtained in this way. As a byproduct we obtain new identities of eta products.

An explicit wall crossing for the moduli space of hyperplane arrangements

Abstract:The moduli space of hyperplanes in projective space has a family of geometric and modular compactifications that parametrize stable hyperplane arrangements with respect to a weight vector. Among these, there is a toric compactification that generalizes the Losev-Manin moduli space of points on the line. We study the first natural wall crossing that modifies this compactification into a non-toric one by varying the weights. As an application of our work, we show that any $\mathbb{Q}$-factorialization of the blow up at the identity of the torus of the generalized Losev-Manin space is not a Mori dream space for a sufficiently high number of hyperplanes. Additionally, for lines in the plane, we provide a precise description of the wall crossing.

Abstract:We aim to present two new generalized integral formulae involving product of generalized Struve function $\mathcal{W}_{p,b,c}\left( z\right)$, which are expressed in terms of the generalized Lauricella functions. The main results presented here, being the very general character, reduce to yield known and new integral formulae. Some special cases of our main results are also considered.

Abstract:We study $K$-theoretic integrals over famed quiver moduli via wall-crossing phenomena. We study the chainsaw quiver varieties, and consider generating functions defined by two types of $K$-theoretic classes. In particular, we focus on integrals over the handsaw quiver varieties of type $A_{1}$, and get functional equations for each of them. We also give explicit formula for these partition functions. In particular, we obtain geometric interpretation of transformation formulas for multiple basic hypergeometric series including the Kajihara transformation formula, and the one studied by Langer-Schlosser-Warnaar and Hallnäs-Langman-Noumi-Rosengren.

Abstract:In this paper we establish some new results similar to Lagrange's four-square theorem. For example, we prove that any integer $n>1$ can be written $w(5w+1)/2+x(5x+1)/2+y(5y+1)/2+z(5z+1)/2$ with $w,x,y,z\in\mathbb Z$. Here we state two general results: (1) If $a$ and $b$ are odd integers with $a>0$, $b>-a$ and $\gcd(a,b)=1$, then all sufficient large integers can be written as $$\frac{w(aw+b)}2+\frac{x(ax+b)}2+\frac{y(ay+b)}2+\frac{z(az+b)}2$$ with $w,x,y,z$ nonnegative integers. Abstract:Let be an inner form of a general linear group over a non-Archimedean local field. We fix an arbitrary irreducible representation of . Building on the work of Lapid-Mínguez on the irreducibility of parabolic inductions, we show how to define a full subcategory of the category of smooth representations of some , on which the parabolic induction functor is fully-faithful. A key ingredient of our proof for the fully-faithfulness is constructions of indecomposable representations of length 2. Such result for a special situation has been previously applied in proving the local non-tempered Gan-Gross-Prasad conjecture for non-Archimedean general linear groups. In this article, we apply the fully-faithful result to prove a certain big derivative arising from Jacquet functor satisfies the property that its socle is irreducible and has multiplicity one in the Jordan-Hölder sequence of the big derivative.

Abstract:We give a new proof of Ciocan-Fontanine and Kim's wall-crossing formula relating the virtual classes of the moduli spaces of $\epsilon$-stable quasimaps for different $\epsilon$ in any genus, whenever the target is a complete intersection in projective space and there is at least one marked point. Our techniques involve a twisted graph space, which we expect to generalize to yield wall-crossing formulas for general gauged linear sigma models.

Abstract:An $H$-field is a type of ordered valued differential field with a natural interaction between ordering, valuation, and derivation. The main examples are Hardy fields and fields of transseries. Aschenbrenner and van den Dries proved in~\cite{MZ} that every $H$-field $K$ has either exactly one or exactly two Liouville closures up to isomorphism over $K$, but the precise dividing line between these two cases was unknown. We prove here that this dividing line is determined by $\uplambda$-freeness, a property of $H$-fields that prevents certain deviant behavior. In particular, we show that under certain types of extensions related to adjoining integrals and exponential integrals, the property of $\uplambda$-freeness is preserved. In the proofs we introduce a new technique for studying $H$-fields, the \emph{yardstick argument} which involves the rate of growth of pseudoconvergence.

Abstract:Some relationships between the arithmetic and the geometry of Lipschitz and Hurwitz integers are presented. In particular, it is shown that the (ternary) vector product of a Lipschitz integer $\alpha$ with two other Lipschitz integers, both orthogonal to $\alpha$, is a left and also a right multiple of $\alpha$, and that the vector product of two left multiples of $\alpha$ with any other Lipschitz integer is still a left multiple of $\alpha$. We also provide new arithmetical proofs for some old results of Gordon Pall, and raise a geometric problem on the location of some integral quaternions that is related to the factorization of some integers.

Abstract:This paper sets up a framework to organize anticyclotomic Iwasawa theory in the context of the Gan-Gross-Prasad conjecture for unitary groups. We propose multiple main conjectures depending on archimedean weight interlacing conditions, generalizing phenomena in the anticyclotomic Iwasawa theory of elliptic curves. We also prove an abstract theorem in Galois cohomology which relates the conjectures.

Abstract:Abstract We apply the machinery of Bridgeland stability conditions on derived categories of coherent sheaves to describe the geometry of classical moduli spaces associated with canonical genus 4 space curves via an effective control over its wall‐crossing. This article provides the first description of a moduli space of Pandharipande–Thomas stable pairs that is used as an intermediate step toward the description of the associated Hilbert scheme, which in turn is the first example where the components of a classical moduli space were completely determined via wall‐crossing. We give a full list of irreducible components of the space of stable pairs, along with a birational description of each component, and a partial list for the Hilbert scheme. There are several long standing open problems regarding classical sheaf theoretic moduli spaces, and the present work will shed light on further studies of such moduli spaces such as Hilbert schemes of curves and moduli of stable pairs that are very hard to tackle without the wall‐crossing techniques.
