Abstract:In this paper, we study the formulae for a product of two product Euler polynomials. From this study, we derive some formulae for the integral of the product of two or more Ruler polynomials.

Abstract:where / ( / ) is a differentiate function defined on the real number interval [a, b), and x may be a real or complex number with x*0 and x*l. Obviously, the case for x = l of (1.1) could be generally treated by means of the well-known Euler-Maclaurin summation formula. The object of this paper is to find a general summation formula for (1.1) that could be applied readily to some interesting special cases, e.g., those with f{i)-t (2 ei?), / ( / ) = logf (V>1), and f(t) = q (0<q<l)9 respectively. Related results will be presented in Sections 3-5. Recall that for the particular case f(t) = t and [a, b) = [0, oo) with/? being a positive integer, we have the classical result (cf. [1], [2], [4])

Abstract:In this paper we investigate the properties of the Euler functions. By using the Fourier transform for the Euler function, we derive the interesting formula related to the infinite series. Finally we give some interesting identities between the Euler numbers and the second kind stirling numbers.

Abstract:A method of using vacuum calorimetry as a means of determining directly the energy deposited in an electrically exploded wire is presented. This energy determination is compared with that given by the time integral of the product of voltage and current. A definite reproducible pattern of the explosion products is deposited on the walls of the calorimeter, which may be used as a means of understanding the behavior of the wire during the explosion.

Abstract:The evaluation of an integral of the product of Laguerre polynomials was discussed recently in this Journal by Mavromatis [12] (1990) and Lee [9] (1997) [see also Ong and Lee [14] (2000)]. The main object of the present sequel to these earlier works is to consider a family of such integrals of the products of Laguerre, Hermite, and other classical orthogonal polynomials in a systematic and unified manner. Relevant connections of some of these integral formulas with various known integrals, as well as the computational and numerical aspects of the results presented here, are also pointed out.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to study degenerate Eulerian polynomials and degenerate Eulerian numbers, respectively as degenerate versions of the Eulerian polynomials and the Eulerian numbers, and to derive some of their properties. Specifically, we derive an identity, recursive relations, generating function and degenerate version of Worpitzky's identity for the degenerate Eulerian polynomials and numbers. In addition, we obtain several results involving the degenerate Stirling numbers of the second kind and the degenerate Bernoulli numbers as well as the degenerate Eulerian numbers.

Abstract:In the year 2014, Kim et al. computed a kind of new sums of the products of an arbitrary number of the classical Bernoulli and Euler polynomials by using the Euler basis for the vector space of polynomials of bounded degree. Inspired by their work, in this paper, we establish some new formulas for such a kind of sums of the products of an arbitrary number of the Apostol-Bernoulli, Euler, and Genocchi polynomials by making use of the generating function methods and summation transform techniques. The results derived here are generalizations of the corresponding known formulas involving the classical Bernoulli, Euler, and Genocchi polynomials.

Abstract:In the present contribution to the Special Volume dedicated to the Tricentennial Birthday Anniversary of Leonhard Euler (1707-1783), the author systematically investigates several general families of hypergeometric polynomials and their associated single-, double-, and triple-integral representations of the Eulerian and other types. Some interesting consequences of the general results presented here, involving such classical orthogonal polynomials as the Jacobi, Laguerre, Hermite, and Bessel polynomials, and also various other relatively less familiar hypergeometric polynomials such as (for example) the Konhauser-Toscano and Gould-Hopper polynomials, are also considered. Each of the many classesof integral representations, which are presented in this article, may be viewed also as a potentially useful linearization relationship for the product of two different members of the associated family of hypergeometric polynomials.

Abstract:In 1769, Euler proved the following result $$ \int_0^{\frac\pi2}\log(\sin \theta) d\theta=-\frac\pi2 \log2. $$ In this paper, as a generalization, we evaluate the definite integrals $$ \int_0^x \theta^{r-2}\log\left(\cos\frac\theta2\right)d\theta $$ for $r=2,3,4,\ldots.$ We show that it can be expressed by the special values of Kurokawa and Koyama's multiple cosine functions $\mathcal{C}_r(x)$ or by the special values of alternating zeta and Dirichlet lambda functions. In particular, we get the following explicit expression of the zeta value $$ \zeta(3)=\frac{4\pi^2}{21}\log\left(\frac{e^{\frac{4G}{\pi}}\mathcal{C}_3\left(\frac14\right)^{16}}{\sqrt2}\right), $$ where $G$ is Catalan's constant and $\mathcal{C}_3\left(\frac14\right)$ is the special value of Kurokawa and Koyama's multiple cosine function $\mathcal{C}_3(x)$ at $\frac14$. Furthermore, we prove several series representations for the logarithm of multiple cosine functions $\log\mathcal{C}_r\left(\frac x{2}\right)$ by zeta functions, $L$-functions or polylogarithms. One of them leads to another expression of $\zeta(3)$: $$\zeta(3)=\frac{72\pi^2}{11}\log\left(\frac{3^{\frac1{72}}\mathcal{C}_3\left(\frac16\right)}{\mathcal{C}_2\left(\frac16\right)^{\frac13}}\right).$$
