Abstract:A multi-player competitive Dynkin stopping game is constructed. Each player can either exit the game for a fixed payoff, determined a priori, or stay and receive an adjusted payoff depending on the decision of other players. The single period case is shown to be "weakly unilaterally competitive". We present an explicit construction of the unique value at which Nash and optimal equilibria are attained. Multiple period generalisations are explored. The game has interpretations in economic and financial contexts, for example, as a consumption model with bounded resources. It also serves as a starting point to the construction of multi-person financial game options. In particular, the concept of optimal equilibria becomes pivotal in the pricing of the game options via super-replication.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problem that this paper attempts to solve is to construct an extended Dynkin stopping game model in a multi - player competitive environment. This model allows more than two players to participate, and each player can choose to quit the game to obtain a fixed payoff, or stay in the game and adjust their payoff according to the decisions of other players. Specifically, the paper focuses on the existence and uniqueness of Nash equilibrium and optimal equilibrium in this multi - player game in single - period and multi - period cases. In addition, the paper also explores the applications of these games in economic and financial contexts, such as being used as the basis for constructing consumption models or multi - person financial game options. The main contributions of the paper are as follows: 1. **Model construction**: A multi - player competitive Dynkin stopping game model is proposed. In this model, players can choose to quit or continue the game in each period and adjust their payoffs according to the decisions of other players. 2. **Theoretical analysis**: It is proved that under the condition of weak unilateral competition (WUC), the model has a unique value, which can be obtained by explicit construction, and this value corresponds to Nash equilibrium and optimal equilibrium. 3. **Application expansion**: The applications of this model in stochastic situations are discussed, as well as two generalization forms in multi - period cases: recursive stopping games and exit games. Through these works, the paper provides new tools and methods for understanding and analyzing dynamic decision - making problems in multi - player competitive environments, especially in applications in the financial and economic fields, such as the pricing problem of financial game options.
