Abstract:In the real-world scenario, one has to find a dominating person in a social network, conferences, meetings or any group discussion. The fuzzy graph (network) is one of the most powerful tools to find the strongest influential person in a network. This paper aims to develop a concept of fuzzy graphs (FGs) in the setup of bipolar-valued hesitant fuzzy sets (BVHFs). The concept of bipolar-valued hesitant fuzzy graph (BVHFG) is different from the concept of bipolar fuzzy graph (BFG). BVHFG is the generalization of hesitant fuzzy graph (HFG), which not only considers the satisfaction degree of units in a network but also considers the satisfaction degree to some implicit counter property of units with several bipolar fuzzy values. We first introduce the definition of BVHFG, represented by another class of imprecise membership grades that refers to BVHF membership grades. We shall subsequently see the scope of BVHF membership grades in BVHFG is greater than the scope of bipolar-valued membership grades in BFG. In addition, we also discuss the basic operations and functional properties of BVHFGs. Finally, we propose a numerical method to find the most dominating person using our proposed work. As the proposed method of ranking considers the degree of hesitation as well as bipolarity, this method has the edge over earlier work. To establish the importance of our method, we also find domination degrees for HFG and BVHFG using the same example and show that there is a significant change in the ranking of dominating persons.

Abstract:Topological indices are the numbers that remain constant under graph automorphism. Topological indices describe a network's connectivity, structure, and topological characteristics. These indices have many applications in crisp graphs. However, in many cases, it is observed that some situations can't be described using the idea of crisp graphs. So, to overcome this issue, the need to define topological indices for fuzzy and bipolar fuzzy graphs arises. The F-index, or the Forgotten Index, is a significant topological index. A bipolar fuzzy graph with two opposite-sided opinions of both the edges and vertices measures the impreciseness or uncertainties of the edges and vertices along the positive and negative sides. In this article, we have presented the Forgotten Index for bipolar fuzzy graphs. Then, we have proved some theorems regarding the F-index of numerous types of bipolar fuzzy graphs, such as regular bipolar fuzzy graphs, complete bipolar fuzzy graphs, etc., the bounds of the F-index in bipolar fuzzy graphs, and the relationships of the F-index with other topological indices in bipolar fuzzy graphs. We have applied the proposed topological index, the F-index for bipolar fuzzy graphs, to matrimonial websites to find potential life partners based on compatibility and discussed the application of the Forgotten Index in gene regulatory networks.

Abstract:We generalize the construction of affine polar graphs in two different ways to obtain partial difference sets and amorphic association schemes. In the first generalization we replace the quadratic form in the affine polar graph construction by higher degree homogeneous functions that are p-ary weakly regular bent. The second generalization uses a combination of quadratic forms and uniform cyclotomy. The negative Latin square type partial difference sets arising from the second generalization seem to be new.

Abstract:Abstract This paper introduces the concept of hesitant bipolar-valued fuzzy graph (HBVFG), which captures the two opposing perspectives, namely the positive and negative opinions. The novelty, importance and implications of this concept are illustrated by some results, examples, and graphical representations. There are, respectively, some theoretical terms of graphs such as partial directed hesitant bipolar-valued fuzzy subgraph (HBVFSG), directed HBVFSG, directed spanning HBVFSG, strong directed HBVFG and complete directed HBVFG which are introduced. The operations, such as Cartesian, direct, lexicographical, and strong products, are also defined between two HBVFGs with examples. The mapping relations, such as homomorphism, isomorphism, weak isomorphism, and co-weak isomorphism, are derived with an example. The applications of directed HBVFGs with algorithms for finding the optimal path in a network and the dominant node and influence of index with the self-persistence degree of a node in a social network are presented. For each problem, an algorithm is developed and its effectiveness is demonstrated by examples. The proposed concept is assessed in terms of theory and practice. The benefits of the proposed solution are highlighted and a clear comparison is made with the existing methods.

In this paper, we establish a one-to-one correspondence between the incidence graphs of quasi-symmetric SPBIBDs with parameters of type , featuring intersection numbers and (where ), and bipartite distance-regularized graphs with . Moreover, our investigations result in the systematic classification of 2- Y -homogeneous bipartite distance-regularized graphs, which are incidence graphs of quasi-symmetric SPBIBDs with parameters of type with intersection numbers and .

Abstract:Graph theory has successfully used to solve a wide range of problems encountered in diverse fields such as medical sciences, neural networks, control theory, transportation, clustering analysis, expert systems, image capturing, and network security. In past few years, a number of generalizations of graph theoretical concepts have developed to model the impreciseness and uncertainties in graphical network problems. A Pythagorean fuzzy set is a powerful tool for describing the vague concepts more precisely. The Pythagorean fuzzy set-based models provide more flexibility in handling the human judgment information as compared to other fuzzy models. The objective of this paper is to apply the concept of Pythagorean fuzzy sets to graph theory. This work introduces the notion of Pythagorean fuzzy graphs (PFGs) and describes a number of methods for their construction. We then define some basic operations on PFGs and prove some of their important properties. The work also discusses the notion of isomorphism between Pythagorean fuzzy graphs with a numerical example. Further, we introduce the concept of the strong Pythagorean fuzzy graph and the complete Pythagorean fuzzy graph. In addition, the paper also proves some results on self-complementary, self-weak complementary with Pythagorean fuzzy strong graphs and Pythagorean fuzzy complete graphs.

Abstract:Bipolar picture fuzzy sets (BPPFSs), being the most extended form of fuzzy sets (FSs), has more capability to analyze the state of any network, more intelligently. It is proven that BPPFSs having poles is most efficient in solving daily life problems with uncertainties, compared to the other extensions of fuzzy sets (FSs). The ideas of fuzzy planar graphs (FPGs) and intutiionistic fuzzy planar graphs (IFPGs) have been introduced in the literature, the concepts of bipolar picture fuzzy planar graph (BPPFPG) has not yet been explored. In this study, we fill the gap existing in the literature by introducing the idea of BPPFPGs. We present various key features and characteristics of BPPFPGs. In this context, we describe the degree of a vertex of a BPPFMG, strong multi-edge of a BPPFMG, complete BPPFMG, strength of a bipolar picture fuzzy multi-edge of a BPPFMG, a strong multi-edge of a BPPFMG etc. Moreover, we initiate the concepts of geometric and combinatorial duals of BPPFPGs. At the end, we present the utilizations of BPPFPGs in creating image segmentation and making road map designs. In this regard, we analyze image segmentation based on strong BPPFPG, and by utilizing the term "degree of planarity" of BPPFPGs, we introduce a new scheme for designing safer road map.

Abstract:The edge k -labeling ψ of G is defined by a mapping from EG to a set of integers 1,2,...,k , where the integer weight assigned to the vertex x∈VG is given as wψx=∑ψxy , such that the sum is taken over every vertex of y∈VG that is adjacent to x and the integer weights of adjacent vertices must be distinct for all vertices with x≠y . An irregular assignment of G using atmost k labels which is considered to be a minimum k is defined as irregularity strength of a graph G and can be denoted as sG . There are also further works on familiar irregular assignments, such as edge irregular labelings, vertex irregular total labelings, edge irregular total labelings, and face irregular entire k -labelings of plane graphs. A plane graph can be defined as a graph that is embedded in the plane in which no two lines will be intersected. In a plane graph the number of regions present are called faces and we denote it as F . The concept of total face irregularity strength is defined by the motivation of irregular networks and entire irregular face k -labeling. In our paper, we have obtained a minimum bound for the total face irregularity strength of two-connected plane graphs like cycle-of-ladder, C -necklace graph, P -necklace graph, sibling tree, and triangular graph.

Abstract:The aim of this study is to provide neighborhood structures in bipolar fuzzy supra topological space and to show the applicability of bipolar fuzzy supra topology to the medical diagnosis problem. Firstly, we give some properties related to bipolar fuzzy points and their neighborhood structure in bipolar fuzzy supra topological spaces. Then, we consider another important structure, "quasi-coincident," in the case of bipolar fuzzy points and bipolar fuzzy sets. Then, we introduce the corresponding neighborhood structure called "Q-neighborhood system" by using the quasi-coincident relations. Furthermore, we also investigate the characterization of bipolar fuzzy supra topological space in terms of quasi-neighborhoods. Finally, we present a new method to solve medical diagnosis problems by using the bipolar fuzzy score function.

Abstract:Fiol, Garriga, and Yebra introduced the notion of pseudo-distance-regular vertices, which they used to develop a new characterization of distance-regular graphs. Building on that work, Fiol and Garriga developed the spectral excess theorem for distance-regular graphs. We extend both these characterizations to distancebiregular graphs and show how these characterizations can be used to study bipartite graphs with distance-regular halved graphs and graphs with the spectrum of a distance-biregular graph.

Abstract:In this paper, three topics in bipolar fuzzy soft hypervector spaces are investigated. At first, four equivalent conditions to definition of a bipolar fuzzy soft hypervector space are presented, from different point of views. Then some new bipolar fuzzy soft hypervector spaces are constructed, using the notions of subhyperspace, level subset, generated subhyperspace and previous bipolar fuzzy soft hypervector spaces. Finally, normal bipolar fuzzy soft hypervector spaces is studied, as an especial kind of bipolar fuzzy soft hypervector spaces. All concepts are supported by interesting examples.

An interval-valued fuzzy set is a generalization of the notion of a fuzzy set. Interval-valued fuzzy models give more precision, flexibility and compatibility to the system as compared to the fuzzy models. In this paper, we introduce the concept of antipodal interval - valued fuzzy graph and self median interval-valued fuzzy graph of the given interval-valued fuzzy graph. Abstract:In the realm of handling imprecise information, picture fuzzy cubic sets have emerged as a more versatile tool compared to cubic sets, cubic intuitionistic fuzzy sets, and similar models. These sets offer better adaptability, precision and compatibility with the system than existing fuzzy models. This paper extends the concept of picture fuzzy cubic sets to the domain of graph theory, introducing the novel concept of picture fuzzy cubic graphs that surpasses previous results in terms of generality. The paper explores various essential operations, including composition, the Cartesian product, P-join, R-join, P-union, R-union of picture fuzzy cubic graphs. It also investigates the order and degree of picture fuzzy cubic graphs. Furthermore, this work presents two practical applications of picture fuzzy cubic graphs. The first application involves computing the impact of other companies on a specific company and the second application focuses on evaluating the overall impact within a group of companies.

Abstract:Let $G$ be a group and $L(G)$ be the set of all subgroups of $G$. We introduce a bipartite graph $\mathcal{B}(G)$ on $G$ whose vertex set is the union of two sets $G \times G$ and $L(G)$, and two vertices $(a, b) \in G \times G$ and $H \in L(G)$ are adjacent if $H$ is generated by $a$ and $b$. We establish connections between $\mathcal{B}(G)$ and the generating graph of $G$. We also discuss about various graph parameters such as independence number, domination number, girth, diameter, matching number, clique number, irredundance number, domatic number and minimum size of a vertex cover of $\mathcal{B}(G)$. We obtain relations between $\mathcal{B}(G)$ and certain probabilities associated to finite groups. We also obtain expressions for various topological indices of $\mathcal{B}(G)$. Finally, we realize the structures of $\mathcal{B}(G)$ for the dihedral groups of order $2p$ and $2p^2$ and dicyclic groups of order $4p$ and $4p^2$ (where $p$ is any prime) including certain other small order groups.

Abstract:The eccentricity matrix of a simple connected graph G is obtained from the distance matrix of G by retaining the largest nonzero distance in each row and column, and the remaining entries are defined to be zero. A bi-block graph is a simple connected graph whose blocks are all complete bipartite graphs with possibly different orders. In this paper, we study the eccentricity matrices of a subclass (which includes trees) of bi-block graphs. We first find the inertia of the eccentricity matrices of graphs in , and thereby, we characterize graphs in with odd diameters. Precisely, if the diameter of is more than three, then we show that the eigenvalues of the eccentricity matrix of G are symmetric with respect to the origin if and only if the diameter of G is odd. Further, we prove that the eccentricity matrices of graphs in are irreducible.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to introduce the notion of bipolar fuzzy soft hypervector spaces and study their basic properties. In this regard, at first some new operation and external hyperoperation are defined on bipolar fuzzy soft sets over hypervector space V, related to the operation and external hyperoperation of V. Then the notion of bipolar fuzzy soft hypervector space is defined, supported by non-trivial examples, and it is investigated that the new bipolar fuzzy soft sets, constructed by the mentioned operation and hyperoperation, are bipolar fuzzy soft hypervector spaces. Finally, the behavior of bipolar fuzzy soft hypervector spaces under linear transformations is studied.

Abstract:Distance-regular graphs are a key concept in Algebraic Combinatorics and have given rise to several generalizations, such as association schemes. Motivated by spectral and other algebraic characterizations of distance-regular graphs, we study `almost distance-regular graphs'. We use this name informally for graphs that share some regularity properties that are related to distance in the graph. For example, a known characterization of a distance-regular graph is the invariance of the number of walks of given length between vertices at a given distance, while a graph is called walk-regular if the number of closed walks of given length rooted at any given vertex is a constant. One of the concepts studied here is a generalization of both distance-regularity and walk-regularity called $m$-walk-regularity. Another studied concept is that of $m$-partial distance-regularity or, informally, distance-regularity up to distance $m$. Using eigenvalues of graphs and the predistance polynomials, we discuss and relate these and other concepts of almost distance-regularity, such as their common generalization of $(\ell,m)$-walk-regularity. We introduce the concepts of punctual distance-regularity and punctual walk-regularity as a fundament upon which almost distance-regular graphs are built. We provide examples that are mostly taken from the Foster census, a collection of symmetric cubic graphs. Two problems are posed that are related to the question of when almost distance-regular becomes whole distance-regular. We also give several characterizations of punctually distance-regular graphs that are generalizations of the spectral excess theorem.
