Abstract:In this paper, we classify the singular parameters for the Birman-Murakami-Wenzl algebra over an arbitrary field. Equivalently, we give a criterion for the Birman-Murakami-Wenzl algebra being Morita equivalent to the direct sum of the Hecke algebras associated to certain symmetric groups.

Abstract:Journal of Algebra and Its Applications, Ahead of Print. The Morita equivalences of classical Brauer algebras and classical Birman–Murakami–Wenzl (BMW) algebras have been well studied. Here, we study the Morita equivalence problems on these two kinds of algebras of simply-laced type, especially for them with the generic parameters. We show that Brauer algebras and BMW algebras of simply-laced type are Morita equivalent to the direct sums of some group algebras of Coxeter groups and some Hecke algebras of Coxeter groups, respectively.

Abstract:The necessary and sufficient condition for a braid group representation with a cubic reduction relation to give rise to a representation of the Birman-Wenzl algebra is given. For the case with an arbitrary order reduction relation, a wider sufficient condition is proposed.

Abstract:The first two authors classified subfactor planar algebra generated by a non-trivial 2-box subject to the condition that the dimension of 3-boxes is at most 12 in Part I; 13 in Part II of this series. They are the group planar algebra for $\mathbb {Z}_3$, the Fuss-Catalan planar algebra, and the group/subgroup planar algebra for $\mathbb {Z}_2\subset \mathbb {Z}_5\rtimes \mathbb {Z}_2$. In the present paper, we extend the classification to 14 dimensional 3-boxes. They are all Birman-Murakami-Wenzl algebras. Precisely it contains a depth 3 one from quantum $O(3)$, and a one-parameter family from quantum $Sp(4)$.

Abstract:Let $k$ be a local field of characteristic zero. Rankin-Selberg's local zeta integrals produce linear functionals on generic irreducible admissible smooth representations of $GL_n(k)\times GL_r(k)$, with certain invariance properties. We show that up to scalar multiplication, these linear functionals are determined by the invariance properties.

Abstract:This paper is divided into two parts. The first is a review, through categorical lenses, of the classical theory of regular-singular differential systems over $C((x))$ and $\mathbb P^1_C\smallsetminus\{0,\infty\}$, where $C$ is algebraically closed and of characteristic zero. It aims at reading the existing classification results as an equivalence between regular-singular systems and representations of the group $\mathbb Z$. In the second part, we deal with regular-singular connections over $R((x))$ and $\mathbb P_R^1\smallsetminus\{0,\infty\}$, where $R=C[[t_1,\ldots,t_r]]/I$. The picture we offer shows that regular-singular connections are equivalent to representations of $\mathbb Z$, now over $R$.

Abstract:The Temperley-Lieb algebra may be thought of as a quotient of the Hecke algebra of type A, acting on tensor space as the commutant of the usual action of quantum sl(2) on the n-th tensor power of the 2-dimensional irreducible module. We define and study a quotient of the Birman-Wenzl-Murakami algebra, which plays an analogous role for the 3-dimensional representation of quantum sl(2). In the course of the discussion we prove some general results about the radical of a cellular algebra, which may be of independent interest.

Abstract:Let $\mathfrak{g}=\mathfrak{g}_{\bar 0}\oplus\mathfrak{g}_{\bar 1}$ be a basic classical Lie superalgebra over an algebraically closed field $\textbf{k}$ of characteristic $p>2$. Denote by $\mathcal{Z}$ the center of the universal enveloping algebra $U(\mathfrak{g})$. Then $\mathcal{Z}$ turns out to be finitely-generated purely-even commutative algebra without nonzero divisors. In this paper, we demonstrate that the fraction $\text{Frac}(\mathcal{Z})$ is isomorphic to $\text{Frac}(\mathfrak{Z})$ for the center $\mathfrak{Z}$ of $U(\mathfrak{g}_{\bar 0})$. Consequently, both Zassenhaus varieties for $\mathfrak{g}$ and $\mathfrak{g}_{\bar 0}$ are birationally equivalent via a subalgebra $\widetilde{mathcal{Z}}\subset\mathcal{Z}$, and $\text{Spec}(\mathcal{Z})$ is rational under the standard hypotheses.

As a result, we obtain a new method for describing the singularity categories of certain bounded quiver algebras.

Abstract:Let $\mathbb{K}$ be a field of characteristic $p$ and $G$ be a cyclic $p$-group which acts on a finite acyclic quiver $Q$. The folding process associates a Cartan triple to the action. We establish a Morita equivalence between the skew group algebra of the preprojective algebra of $Q$ and the generalized preprojective algebra associated to the Cartan triple in the sense of Geiss, Leclerc and Schröer. The Morita equivalence induces an isomorphism between certain ideal monoids of these preprojective algebras, which is compatible with the embedding of Weyl groups appearing in the folding process.

We obtain a classification of invariant positive definite forms on $M$ in the case when $\mathcal{A}$ has no finite-dimensional representations.

Connected components of the moduli space of L-parameters

Abstract:Recently, in order to formulate a categorical version of the local Langlands correspondence, several authors have constructed moduli spaces of $\mathbf{Z}[1/p]$-valued L-parameters for $p$-adic groups. The connected components of these spaces over various $\mathbf{Z}[1/p]$-algebras $R$ are conjecturally related to blocks in categories of $R$-representations of $p$-adic groups. Dat-Helm-Kurinczuk-Moss described the components when $R$ is an algebraically closed field and gave a conjectural description when $R = \overline{\mathbf{Z}}[1/p]$. In this paper, we prove a strong form of this conjecture applicable to any integral domain $R$ over $\overline{\mathbf{Z}}[1/p]$.

Abstract:We establish explicit isomorphisms of two seemingly-different algebras, and their Schur algebras, arising from the centralizers of two different type B Weyl group actions in Schur-like dualities. We provide a presentation of the geometric counterpart of the above Schur algebras in Bao-Kujawa-Li-Wang (2018) specialized at $q=1$.

Haring-Oldenburg, are extensions of the cyclotomic Hecke algebras of Ariki-Koike, in the same way as the BMW algebras are extensions of the Hecke algebras of type A. Abstract:In this article, we provide a comprehensive characterization of invariants of classical Lie superalgebras from the super-analog of the Schur-Weyl duality in a unified way. We establish $\mathfrak{g}$-invariants of the tensor algebra $T(\mathfrak{g})$, the supersymmetric algebra $S(\mathfrak{g})$, and the universal enveloping algebra $\mathrm{U}(\mathfrak{g})$ of a classical Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{g}$ corresponding to every element in centralizer algebras and their relationship under supersymmetrization. As a byproduct, we prove that the restriction on $T(\mathfrak{g})^{\mathfrak{g}}$ of the projection from $T(\mathfrak{g})$ to $\mathrm{U}(\mathfrak{g})$ is surjective, which enables us to determine the generators of the center $\mathcal{Z}(\mathfrak{g})$ except for $\mathfrak{g}=\mathfrak{osp}_{2m|2n}$. Additionally, we present an alternative algebraic proof of the triviality of $\mathcal{Z}(\mathfrak{p}_n)$. The key ingredient involves a technique lemma related to the symmetric group and Brauer diagrams.

Abstract:We define a degenerate affine version of the walled Brauer algebra, that has the same role plaid by the degenerate affine Hecke algebra for the symmetric group algebra. We use it to prove a higher level mixed Schur-Weyl duality for gl_N. We consider then families of cyclotomic quotients of level two which appear naturally in Lie theory and we prove that they inherit from there a natural grading and a graded cellular structure.
