Abstract:We survey several significant results on the Bohr inequality and presented its generalizations in some new approaches. These are some Bohr type inequalities of Hilbert space operators related to the matrix order and the Jensen inequality. An eigenvalue extension of Bohr's inequality is discussed as well.

Abstract:In this article, we first establish operator-valued analogues of multidimensional refined Bohr inequality. Then we establish operator-valued analogues of multidimensional improved Bohr inequality with a certain power of the norm of the initial coefficient. Finally, we establish operator-valued analogues of a multidimensional sharp version of Bohr inequality with the initial coefficient being replaced by the norm value of the function. In addition, we establish operator-valued analogues of multidimensional improved Bohr inequality using the quantity $S_r/\pi$. All the results prove to be sharp.

Abstract:The classical Bohr inequality for scalars was extended to the non-commutative case of Hilbert space operators in the literature. The sole goal of this article is to discuss the operator Bohr inequality and present some of its new variants. This includes fresh reverses and refinements of this inequality with applications towards an operator's real and imaginary parts, not to forget the new discussion of different domains of the parameters. One further application towards the operator Dunkl-Williams inequality will be presented too. While the new results are interesting, we emphasize that the approach used to explore these inequalities differs from the existing literature methods for this context.

Abstract:There exist two major subclasses in the class of superquadratic functions, one comprises concave and decreasing functions, while the other consists of convex and monotone increasing functions. Leveraging this distinction, we introduce eigenvalue inequalities for each case. The characteristics of these functions allow us to advance our findings in two ways: firstly, by refining existing results related to eigenvalues for convex functions, and secondly, by deriving complementary inequalities for other function types. To bolster our claims, we will provide illustrative examples.

To be more specific, we establish an operator valued analogue of a classical result regarding the Bohr phenomenon for scalar valued functions with fixed initial coefficient. Böttcher-Wenzel inequality for weighted Frobenius norms and its application to quantum physics

Abstract:By employing a weighted Frobenius norm with a positive matrix $\omega$, we introduce natural generalizations of the famous Böttcher-Wenzel (BW) inequality. Based on the combination of the weighted Frobenius norm $\|A\|_\omega := \sqrt{{\rm tr}(A^\ast A \omega)}$ and the standard Frobenius norm $\|A\| := \sqrt{{\rm tr}(A^\ast A)}$, there are exactly five possible generalizations, labeled (i) through (v), for the bounds on the norms of the commutator $[A,B]:= AB - BA$. In this paper, we establish the tight bounds for cases (iii) and (v), and propose conjectures regarding the tight bounds for cases (i) and (ii). Additionally, the tight bound for case (iv) is derived as a corollary of case (i). All these bounds (i)-(v) serve as generalizations of the BW inequality. The conjectured bounds for cases (i) and (ii) (and thus also (iv)) are numerically supported for matrices up to size $n=15$. Proofs are provided for $n=2$ and certain special cases. Interestingly, we find applications of these bounds in quantum physics, particularly in the contexts of the uncertainty relation and open quantum dynamics.

Abstract:Several unitarily invariant norm inequalities and numerical radius inequalities for Hilbert space operators are studied. We investigate some necessary and sufficient conditions for the parallelism of two bounded operators. For a finite rank operator $A,$ it is shown that \begin{eqnarray*} \|A\|_{p} &\leq &\left(\textit{rank} \, A\right)^{1/{2p}} \|A\|_{2p} \,\, \leq \,\, \left(\textit{rank} \, A\right)^{{(2p-1)}/{2p^2}} \|A\|_{2p^2}, \quad \textit{for all $p\geq 1 $} \end{eqnarray*} where $\|\cdot\|_p$ is the Schatten $p$-norm. If $\{ \lambda_n(A) \}$ is a listing of all non-zero eigenvalues (with multiplicity) of a compact operator $A$, then we show that \begin{eqnarray*} \sum_{n} \left|\lambda_n(A)\right|^{p} &\leq& \frac12 \| A\|_{ p}^{ p} + \frac12 \| A^2\|_{p/2}^{p/2}, \quad \textit{for all $p\geq 2$} \end{eqnarray*} which improves the classical Weyl's inequality $\sum_{n} \left|\lambda_n(A)\right|^{p} \leq \| A\|_{ p}^{ p}$ [Proc. Nat. Acad. Sci. USA 1949]. For an $n\times n$ matrix $A$, we show that the function $p\to n^{-{1}/{p}}\|A\|_p$ is monotone increasing on $p\geq 1,$ complementing the well known decreasing nature of $p\to \|A\|_p.$ \indent As an application of these inequalities, we provide an upper bound for the sum of the absolute values of the zeros of a complex polynomial. As another application we provide a refined upper bound for the energy of a graph $G$, namely, $\mathcal{E}(G) \leq \sqrt{2m\left(\textit{rank Adj(G)} \right)},$ where $m$ is the number of edges, improving on a bound by McClelland in $1971$.

Abstract:Let $\mathcal{B}(\mathcal{H})$ denote the Banach algebra of all bounded linear operators acting on complex Hilbert spaces $\mathcal{H}$. In this paper, we first establish several sharply refined versions of Bohr's inequality analogues with operator valued functions in the class $\mathcal{B}(\mathbb{D}, \mathcal{B}(\mathcal{H}))$ of bounded analytic functions from the unit disk $\mathbb{D}$ to $\mathcal{B}(\mathcal{H})$ with $\sup_{|z|<1}\Vert f(z)\leq 1$ by utilizing a certain power of the function's norm. Additionally, we establish several multidimensional analogues of refined Bohr's inequalities by using operator valued functions in the complete circular domain $\Omega\subset\mathbb{C}^n$. All of the results are sharp.

Abstract:Let be a family of open subsets of a topological space X equipped with a nonnegative Borel measure satisfying some basic properties. We establish sharp quantitative weighted norm inequalities for the Hardy–Littlewood maximal operator associated with in terms of mixed – constants. The main ingredient to prove this result is a sharp form of a weak reverse Hölder inequality for the weights. As an application of this inequality, we also provide a quantitative version of the open property for weights. Next, we prove a covering lemma in this setting and using this lemma establish the endpoint Fefferman–Stein weighted inequality for the maximal operator . Moreover, vector-valued extensions for maximal inequalities are also obtained in this context.

Abstract:Let $ \mathcal{B}:=\{f(z)=\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}a_nz^n\; \mbox{with}\; |f(z)|<1\;\mbox{for all}\; z\in\mathbb{D}\} $. The improved version of the classical Bohr's inequality \cite{Bohr-1914} states that if $ f\in\mathcal{B} $, then the associated majorant series $ M_f(r):=\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}|a_n|r^n\leq 1 $ holds for $ |z|=r\leq 1/3 $ and the constant $ 1/3 $ cannot be improved. Bohr's original theorem and its subsequent generalizations remain active fields of study, driving investigations in a wide range of function spaces. In this paper, first we establish a generalized Bohr inequality for the class $\mathcal{B}$ by allowing a sequence $\{\varphi_n(r)\}_{n=0}^{\infty}$ of non-negative continuous functions on $[0, 1)$ in the place of $\{r^n\}_{n=0}^{\infty}$ of the majorant series $M_f(r)$ introducing a weighted sequence of non-negative continuous functions $\{\Phi_n(r)\}_{n=0}^{\infty}$ on $[0, 1)$. Secondly, as a generalization, we obtain a refined version of the Bohr inequality for a certain class $\tilde{G}^0_{\mathcal{H}}(\beta)$ of harmonic mappings. All the results are proved to be sharp.

Abstract:In this paper, we derive "universal" inequalities for the sums of eigenvalues of the Hodge de Rham Laplacian on Euclidean closed Submanifolds and of eigenvalues of the Kohn Laplacian on the Heisenberg group. These inequalities generalize the Levitin-Parnovski inequality obtained for the sums of eigenvalues of the Dirichlet Laplacian of a bounded Euclidean domain. New Reilly and Asada inequalities are also obtained.

Abstract:In this paper, we first establish refined versions of the Bohr inequalities for the class of holomorphic functions from the unit ball $B_X$ of a complex Banach space $X$ into $\mathbb{C}$. As applications, we will establish refined Bohr inequalities of functional type or of norm type for holomorphic mappings with lacunary series on the unit ball $B_X$ with values in higher dimensional spaces. Next, we obtain the Bohr-Rogosinski inequality for the class of holomorphic functions on $B_X.$ In addition, we establish an improved version of the Bohr inequality for holomorphic functions on $B_X$. All the results are proved to be sharp.

Abstract:In this paper, we first establish an improved Bohr inequality for the class of operator-valued holomorphic functions $f$ on a simply connected domain $\Omega$ in $\mathbb{C}$. Next, we establish a generalization of refined version of the Bohr inequality and the Bohr-Rogosinski inequality with the help of the sequence $\varphi=\{\varphi_n(r) \}^{\infty}_{n=0}$ of non-negative continuous functions in $[0,1)$ such that the series $\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}\varphi_n(r)$ converges locally uniformly on the interval $[0,1)$. All the results are proved to be sharp. Moreover, We establish the Bohr inequality and the Bohr-Rogosinski inequality for the class of operator-valued $\nu$-Bloch functions defined in two different simply connected domains, $\Omega$ and $\Omega_{\gamma}$, in $\mathbb{C}$.
