Abstract:Currently, with a global shortage of qualified specialists, the problem of competent formation of the personnel reserve is one of the most urgent in the activities of domestic enterprises. In terms of its effectiveness, the management of the personnel reserve in modern realities is becoming a key and complex task for Russian business entities and one of the most important personnel management technologies. This is especially evident with the emergence of new types of activities and directions in the context of digital changes. This is a relatively new direction for Russia, so its implementation requires studying the accumulated domestic and foreign experience. Effective management personnel are gradually regaining their status as an essential element of the successful operation of the company and, accordingly, its competitiveness in the market. At the same time, timely training and formation of a reserve of personnel will help to avoid risks and in the future will contribute to the rapid filling of vacant positions. The need for a team of professionals capable of replacing the management apparatus arises not only with the current movement of personnel. When planning a developing business, it is important to focus on the selection of specialists needed to expand and create new business units. Therefore, without trained specialists, it is impossible to develop a company and solve strategic tasks aimed at its economic growth and stability. It is shown by the example of industrial enterprises of the oil and gas industry that the preparation of a reserve to fill critically important vacant positions, including through the involvement of employees in the implementation of project activities, is one of the promising tasks of their development.
