Abstract:With the passage of time and the integration of culture, the design has become the same, with almost no particular style or homogenization; the tendency of the same is becoming more and more prominent: traditional culture, local characteristics, the inheritance of national spirit is also gradually decreasing, which goes against the original intention of interior design. Combining Chinese traditional culture with interior design, innovative interior design, and inheriting the national spirit have been significant trends in China. Under such a general trend, how to walk out of a road rich in regional and national characteristics combines tradition with contemporary theory to adapt to today's increasingly developing world situation. People and users' interest in traditional culture is also growing, which has led to changes in the design concepts and methods of modern architecture, the most important of which is the integration of traditional culture. At the same time, traditional culture plays a significant role in modern interior design. It can not only diversify the development of modern interior design but also break the Western mode of thinking so that our culture can be inherited and applied, and our lives can become more beautiful. This paper analyzes the application of traditional culture in modern interior design.
