Abstract:This article is devoted to the issues of auditing internal control of commercial enterprises as a guarantee of reliability and completeness of information on the economical use of resources of commercial enterprises. Internal control is a process that must ensure that actual results coincide with those planned, all other things being equal. The control process involves setting goals or standards (often calculated during budgeting) against which actual results are compared. Performance indicators are then periodically measured and compared with targets. Accountants must provide information to managers as feedback in the form of periodic reports that allow managers to determine whether operations are being carried out according to plan and to identify those activities where adjustments are necessary. In particular, one of the functions of management accounting is to provide managers with economic feedback that helps control costs and improve the efficiency and productivity of operations.
