Abstract:The human resource management process, which is evolving due to rapid technological advances, poses numerous challenges for companies. In today’s competitive environment, organizations must focus on attracting and retaining talented employees who are eager to make improvements, which is a key element of their success. In this context, employee motivation methods are becoming a key tool to support effective human resource management. The study of employee motivation in the corporate context, uses major motivational theories, such as Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and Herzberg’s two-factor theory, to provide a theoretical basis for empirical research. The analysis of modern corporate motivational systems is supported by a theoretical foundation to identify effective strategies. The purpose of the study is to identify effective motivational strategies in enterprises and to determine which motivational factors are most important for employees who are diverse in terms of age, seniority and positions held. The study aims to provide practical recommendations for human resource management departments in implementing effective motivational systems that will help attract and retain talented employees. Research sources include a literature review of motivation theory and an analysis of modern corporate motivation systems. The research method used in this study was a questionnaire. It was conducted among employees differing in age, seniority and positions held. The empirical study, based on questionnaires that varied in terms of age, seniority and positions held by respondents, allowed a detailed analysis of motivational factors. Through the analyses presented, it was shown that methods of improving motivation include such factors as salary increases, development opportunities, non-wage benefits, additional vacation days and retraining courses. It was shown that the financial aspect plays a key role as a major motivational factor.
