Abstract:In this paper we prove superintegrability of Hamiltonian systems generated by functions on $K\backslash G/K$, restricted to a symplectic leaf of the Poisson variety $G/K$, where $G$ is a simple Lie group with the standard Poisson Lie structure, and $K$ is its subgroup of fixed points with respect to the Cartan involution.

Abstract:In Affine Toda field theory, links among three generating functions for integrals of motion derived from Part (I) are studied, and some classically integrable boundary conditions are obtained. An infinite number of integrals of motion are calculated in ZMS model with quasi-periodic condition. We find the classically integrable boundary conditions and K+/-, matrices of ZMS model with independent boundary conditions on each end. It is identified that an infinite number of integrals of motion does exist and one of them is the Hamiltonian, so this system is completely integrable.

Abstract:Integrability of equations of topological-antitopological fusion (being proposed by Cecotti and Vafa) describing the ground state metric on a given 2D topological field theory (TFT) model, is proved. For massive TFT models these equations are reduced to a universal form (being independent on the given TFT model) by gauge transformations. For massive perturbations of topological conformal field theory models the separatrix solutions of the equations bounded at infinity are found by the isomonodromy deformations method. Also it is shown that the ground state metric together with some part of the underlined TFT structure can be parametrized by pluriharmonic maps of the coupling space to the symmetric space of real positive definite quadratic forms.

Superintegrability of the monomial Uglov matrix model

Abstract:In this paper we propose a resolution to the problem of $\beta$-deforming the non-Gaussian monomial matrix models. The naive guess of substituting Schur polynomials with Jack polynomials does not work in that case, therefore, we are forced to look for another basis for superintegrability. We find that the relevant symmetric functions are given by Uglov polynomials, and that the integration measure should also be deformed. The measure appears to be related to the Uglov limit as well, when the quantum parameters $(q,t)$ go to a root of unity. The degree of the root must be equal to the degree of the potential. One cannot derive these results directly, for example, by studying Virasoro constraints. Instead, we use the recently developed techniques of $W$-operators to arrive at the root of unity limit. From the perspective of matrix models this new example demonstrates that even with a rather nontrivial integration measure one can find a superintegrability basis by studying the hidden symmetry of the moduli space of deformations.

Abstract:We extend the method for constructing symmetry operators of higher order for two-dimensional quantum Hamiltonians by Kalnins, Kress and Miller (2010). This expansion method expresses the integral in a finite power series in terms of lower degree integrals so as to exhibit it as a first-order differential operators. One advantage of this approach is that it does not require the a priori knowledge of the explicit eigenfunctions of the Hamiltonian nor the action of their raising and lowering operators as in their recurrence approach (2011). We obtain insight into the two-dimensional Hamiltonians of radial oscillator type with general second-order differential operators for the angular variable. We then re-examine the Hamiltonian of Tremblay, Turbiner and Winternitz (2009) as well as a deformation discovered by Post, Vinet and Zhedanov (2011) which possesses reflection operators. We will extend the analysis to spaces of constant curvature. We present explicit formulas for the integrals and the symmetry algebra, the Casimir invariant and oscillator realisations with finite-dimensional irreps which fill a gap in the literature.

Two-dimensional massive integrable models on a torus

Abstract:The finite-volume thermodynamics of a massive integrable QFT is described in terms of a grand canonical ensemble of loops immersed in a torus and interacting through scattering factors associated with their intersections. The path integral of the loops is evaluated explicitly after decoupling the pairwise interactions by a Hubbard-Stratonovich transformation. The HS fields are holomorphic fields depending on the rapidity and can be expanded in elementary oscillators. The torus partition function is expressed as certain expectation value in the Fock space of these oscillators. In the limit where one of the periods of the torus becomes asymptotically large, the effective field theory becomes mean field type. The mean field describes the infinite-volume thermodynamics which is solved by the Thermodynamical Bethe Ansatz.

Abstract:Integrability of N=1 supersymmetric Ruijsenaars-Schneider three-body models based upon the potentials W(x)=2/x, W(x)=2/sin(x), and W(x)=2/sinh(x) is proven. The problem of constructing an algebraically resolvable set of Grassmann-odd constants of motion is reduced to finding a triplet of vectors such that all their scalar products can be expressed in terms of the original bosonic first integrals. The supersymmetric generalizations are used to build novel integrable (iso)spin extensions of the respective Ruijsenaars-Schneider three-body systems.

Integrable deformations of superintegrable quantum circuits

Abstract:Superintegrable models are very special dynamical systems: they possess more conservation laws than what is necessary for complete integrability. This severely constrains their dynamical processes, and it often leads to their exact solvability, even in non-equilibrium situations. In this paper we consider special Hamiltonian deformations of superintegrable quantum circuits. The deformations break superintegrability, but they preserve integrability. We focus on a selection of concrete models and show that for each model there is an (at least) one parameter family of integrable deformations. Our most interesting example is the so-called Rule54 model. We show that the model is compatible with a one parameter family of Yang-Baxter integrable spin chains with six-site interaction. Therefore, the Rule54 model does not have a unique integrability structure, instead it lies at the intersection of a family of quantum integrable models.

Abstract:We first review the construction of the supersymmetric extension of the (quantum) Calogero-Moser-Sutherland (CMS) models. We stress the remarkable fact that this extension is completely captured by the insertion of a fermionic exchange operator in the Hamiltonian: sCMS models ({\it s} for supersymmetric) are nothing but special exchange-type CMS models. Under the appropriate projection, the conserved charges can thus be formulated in terms of the standard Dunkl operators. This is illustrated in the rational case, where the explicit form of the 4N (N being the number of bosonic variables) conserved charges is presented, together with their full algebra. The existence of 2N commuting bosonic charges settles the question of the integrability of the srCMS model. We then prove its superintegrability by displaying 2N-2 extra independent charges commuting with the Hamiltonian. In the second part, we consider the supersymmetric version of the trigonometric case (stCMS model) and review the construction of its eigenfunctions, the Jack superpolynomials. This leads to closed-form expressions, as determinants of determinants involving supermonomial symmetric functions. Here we focus on the main ideas and the generic aspects of the construction: those applicable to all models whether supersymmetric or not. Finally, the possible Lie superalgebraic structure underlying the stCMS model and its eigenfunctions is briefly considered.

Abstract:We review the results of several of our papers about the procedure of extension of Hamiltonians, allowing the construction of families of superintegrable systems with non-trivial polynomial first integrals (or symmetry operators) of arbitrarily high degree. In particular, we focus on the geometric structures involved by the procedure: warped manifolds and Riemannian coverings. Examples of superintegrable systems, classical and quantum, with the structure of extended Hamiltonians are anisotropic harmonic oscillators, Kepler-Coulomb, Tremblay-Turbiner-Winternitz and Post-Winternitz systems.

Abstract:Stationary black holes of massless supergravity theories are described by certain geodesic curves on the target space that is obtained after dimensional reduction over time. When the target space is a symmetric coset space we make use of the group-theoretical structure to prove that the second order geodesic equations are integrable in the sense of Liouville, by explicitly constructing the correct amount of Hamiltonians in involution. This implies that the Hamilton-Jacobi formalism can be applied, which proves that all such black hole solutions, including non-extremal solutions, possess a description in terms of a (fake) superpotential. Furthermore, we improve the existing integration method by the construction of a Lax integration algorithm that integrates the second order equations in one step instead of the usual two step procedure. We illustrate this technology with a specific example.

Abstract:Following the construction of a model for the planar supersymmetric Chaplygin gas, supersymmetric fluid mechanics in (1+1)-dimensions is obtained from the light-cone parametrized Nambu-Goto superstring in (2+1)-dimensions. The lineal model is completely integrable and can be formulated neatly using Riemann coordinates. Infinite towers of conserved charges and supercharges are exhibited. They form irreducible representations of a dynamical (hidden) SO(2,1) symmetry group.

Abstract:An integrable deformation of the well-known Neumann-Rosochatius system is studied by considering generalised bosonic spinning solutions on the eta-deformed AdS_5 x S^5 background. For this integrable model we construct a 4x4 Lax representation and a set of integrals of motion that ensures its Liouville integrability. These integrals of motion correspond to the deformed analogues of the Neumann-Rosochatius integrals and generalise the previously found integrals for the eta-deformed Neumann and (AdS_5 x S^5)_eta geodesic systems. Finally, we briefly comment on consistent truncations of this model.

Abstract:Second-order (maximally) conformally superintegrable Hamiltonian systems of abundant type are re-examined, revealing their underlying Weylian geometry. This allows one to naturally extend the concept of c-superintegrability from the realm of conformal geometries to that of Weylian manifolds. The resulting structures, in any dimension, are characterised by conformally invariant equations.

Abstract:A non-Hermitian generalisation of the Marsden--Weinstein reduction method is introduced to construct families of quantum $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric superintegrable models over an $n$-dimensional sphere $S^n$. The mechanism is illustrated with one- and two-dimensional examples, related to $u(2)$ and $u(3)$ Lie algebras respectively, providing new quantum models with real spectra and spontaneous $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric breaking. In certain limits, the models reduce to known non-Hermitian systems and complex extensions of previously studied real superintegrable systems.

Abstract:This paper is devoted to the construction of new integrable quantum mechanical models based on certain subalgebras of the half loop algebra of gl(N). Various results about these subalgebras are proven by presenting them in the notation of the St Petersburg school. These results are then used to demonstrate the integrability, and find the symmetries, of two types of physical system: twisted Gaudin magnets, and Calogero-type models of particles on several half-lines meeting at a point.

Abstract:We propose a novel characterization of the exact solution of the one-dimensional supersymmetric t − J model with generic non-diagonal boundary conditions. Instead of using Bethe roots, we parameterize the eigenvalues of transfer matrix in the spin sector with their zero-roots. By constructing the t − W relation, we obtain the explicit forms of the eigenvalues of the system and the homogeneous Bethe ansatz equations. This scheme is universal and can be applied to other quantum integrable systems with or without U ( 1 ) symmetry.
