Abstract:We investigated the role of peptide folding stability in peptide immunogenicity. It was the aim of this thesis to implement a stability criterion based on energy computations using an AMBER force field, and to test the implementation with a large dataset.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
Based on the provided text content, the problem that this paper attempts to solve is to explore the role of peptide folding stability in peptide immunogenicity. Specifically, the author's goal is to develop a rational energy function model for simulating the stability of protein fragments and use the force - field method to achieve this goal. The construction of the model is based on previous studies which proposed a direct relationship between the stability of peptides and their ability to trigger an immune response. To verify the validity of this model, the author uses a reference data set for evaluation and provides the implementation tools of this model to the public in the form of a web server for immunogenicity analysis of user - defined proteins.
