LA GESTIÓN DE LA CALIDAD A TRAVÉS DE LAS NORMAS IS09000 DEL AÑO 2000: UN ESTUDIO EMPÍRICO /

Abstract:Dentro de las distintas estrategias relacionadas con la gestion de la calidad que puede desarrollar una organizacion, en los ultimos tiempos ha adquirido una especial relevancia la implantacion y certificacion de sistemas de calidad conforme a los requisitos que establece la norma ISO 9001. En consecuencia, y dada la publicacion en diciembre del 2000 de una nueva version de las normas [SO 9000, donde se han sido introducidas importantes modificaciones respecto a ediciones anteriores, se ha creido conveniente analizar detenidamente dichas normas, a traves de un estudio empirico centrado en las organizaciones con sistemas de calidad certificados por AENOR en Espana conforme a la norma ISO 900 1:2000. / From the different strategies re1ated to quaJity management that can be developed by an organization, the implementation and certification of quality systems based on the requirements ofthe ISO 9001 standard have got a special relevance lately. Accordingly, due to the publishing on December 2000 of a new version of the [SO 9000 standards, where important modifications have been included from prior versions, we have thought that it will be suitable to make a detailed analysis of the standard, through an empirical study focused on those organizations with an ISO 9001 :2000 quality system certified by AENOR on Spain.
