Abstract:In this article we study injective representations of infinite quivers. We classify the indecomposable injective representations of trees and then describe Gorenstein injective and projective representations of barren trees.

Abstract:Gabriel's Theorem states that the quivers which have finitely many isomorphism classes of indecomposable representations are exactly those with underlying graph one of the ADE Dynkin diagrams and that the indecomposables are in bijection with the positive roots of this graph. When the underlying graph is , these indecomposable representations are thin (either 0 or 1 dimensional at every vertex) and in bijection with the connected subquivers. Using linear algebraic methods we show that every (possibly infinite-dimensional) representation of a quiver with underlying graph is infinite Krull-Schmidt, i.e. a direct sum of indecomposables, as long as the arrows in the quiver eventually point outward. We furthermore prove that these indecomposable are again thin and in bijection with both the connected subquivers and the limits of the positive roots of with respect to a certain uniform topology on the root space. Finally we give an example of an quiver which is not infinite Krull-Schmidt and hence necessarily is not eventually-outward.

Abstract:We prove a version of Gabriel's theorem for (possibly infinite dimensional) representations of infinite quivers. More precisely, we show that the representation theory of quiver $\Omega$ is of unique type (each dimension vector has at most one associated indecomposable) and infinite Krull-Schmidt (every, possibly infinite dimensional, representation is a direct sum of indecomposables) if and only if $\Omega$ is eventually outward and of generalized ADE Dynkin type ($A_n$, $D_n$, $E_6$, $E_7$, $E_8$, $A_\infty$, $A_{\infty, \infty}$, or $D_\infty$). Furthermore we define an analog of the Euler-Tits form on the space of eventually constant infinite roots and show that a quiver is of generalized ADE Dynkin type if and only if this form is positive definite. In this case the indecomposables are all locally finite-dimensional and eventually constant and correspond bijectively to the positive roots (i.e. those of length $1$).

Abstract:We prove a version of Gabriel's theorem for locally finite-dimensional representations of infinite quivers. Specifically, we show that if $\Omega$ is any connected quiver, the category of locally finite-dimensional representations of $\Omega$ has unique representation type (meaning no two indecomposable representations have the same dimension vector) if and only if the underlying graph of $\Omega$ is a generalized ADE Dynkin diagram (i.e. one of $A_n, D_n, E_6, E_7, E_8, A_{\infty}, A_{\infty , \infty}$ or $D_\infty$). This result is companion to earlier work of the authors generalizing Gabriel's theorem to infinite quivers with different conditions.

Abstract:We describe a method for an explicit determination of indecomposable preprojective and preinjective representations for extended Dynkin quivers by vector spaces and matrices. This method uses tilting theory and the explicit knowledge of indecomposable modules over the corresponding canonical algebra of domestic type.

Abstract:Let $Q$ be a quiver and $R$ an associative ring. A representation by $R$-modules of $Q$ is called strongly fp-injective if it admits a pure acyclic injective resolution in the category of representations. It is shown that such representations possess many nice properties. We characterize strongly fp-injective representations under some mild assumptions, which is closely related to strongly fp-injective $R$-modules. Subsequently, we use such representations to define relative Gorenstein injective representations, called Gorenstein strongly fp-injective representations, and give an explicit characterization of the Gorenstein strongly fp-injective representations of right rooted quivers. As an application, a model structure in the category of representations is given.

Abstract:We give an explicit approach to quotienting affine varieties by linear actions of linear algebraic groups with graded unipotent radical, using results from projective Non-Reductive GIT. Our quotients come with explicit projective completions, whose boundaries we interpret in terms of the original action. As an application we construct moduli spaces of semistable representations of quivers with multiplicities subject to certain conditions, which always hold in the toric case for a generic stability condition.

Abstract:Let Fq be the finite field of q elements and k =Fq be its algebraic closure.Let Q be a quiver with automorphism σ.In this paper we focus on the study of modules over the Fq-algebra (2)(Q,σ;q) associated with the pair (Q,a) in terms of F-stable representations of Q over k,and we also give several polynomials obtained by counting numbers of indecomposable (2)(Q,a;q)-modules.In particular,we introduce the notion of a-absolutely indecomposable (2)(Q,σ;q)-modules.In the case that Q is an affine quiver,we present the formulas for the numbers of isoclasses of a-absolutely indecomposabte (2)(Q,σ;q)-modules of a fixed dimension vector.

Abstract:Abstract We investigate the (separated) monomorphism category of a quiver over an Artin algebra . We show that there exists an epivalence (called representation equivalence in the terminology of Auslander) from to , where is the category of finitely generated ‐modules and and denote the respective injectively stable categories. Furthermore, if has at least one arrow, then we show that this is an equivalence if and only if is hereditary. In general, the epivalence induces a bijection between indecomposable objects in and noninjective indecomposable objects in , and we show that the generalized Mimo‐construction, an explicit minimal right approximation into , gives an inverse to this bijection. We apply these results to describe the indecomposables in the monomorphism category of radical square zero Nakayama algebras, and to give a bijection between the indecomposables in the monomorphism category of two artinian uniserial rings of Loewy length 3 with the same residue field. The main tool to prove these results is the language of a free monad of an exact endofunctor on an arbitrary abelian category. This allows us to avoid the technical combinatorics arising from quiver representations. The setup also specializes to more general settings, such as representations of modulations. In particular, we obtain new results on the singularity category of the algebras that were introduced by Geiss, Leclerc, and Schröer in order to extend their results relating cluster algebras and Lusztig's semicanonical basis to symmetrizable Cartan matrices. We also recover results on the algebras that were introduced by Lu and Wang to realize groups via semiderived Hall algebras.

Constructions of Indecomposable Representations of Algebras Via Reflection Functors

Abstract:The main aim of this paper is to reform the Bernstein-Gelfand-Ponomarev theory in order to characterize representations of some (non-basic) artinian algebras. All non-isomorphic indecomposable projective and injective representations are constructed via Coxeter functors for a generalized path algebra of acyclic quiver and then for an artinian hereditary algebra of Gabriel-type with an admissible ideal. The methods given via natural quivers and reformed modulations are helpful for one to study some properties which are not Morita-invariant in representation theory.

Abstract:A quiver representation assigns a vector space to each vertex, and a linear map to each arrow. When one considers the category $\textrm{Vect}(\mathbb{F}_1)$ of vector spaces ``over $\mathbb{F}_1$'' (the field with one element), one obtains $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations of a quiver. In this paper, we study representations of a quiver over the field with one element in connection to coefficient quivers. To be precise, we prove that the category $\textrm{Rep}(Q,\mathbb{F}_1)$ is equivalent to the (suitably defined) category of coefficient quivers over $Q$. This provides a conceptual way to see Euler characteristics of a class of quiver Grassmannians as the number of ``$\mathbb{F}_1$-rational points'' of quiver Grassmannians. We generalize techniques originally developed for string and band modules to compute the Euler characteristics of quiver Grassmannians associated to $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations. These techniques apply to a large class of $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations, which we call the $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations with finite nice length: we prove sufficient conditions for an $\mathbb{F}_1$-representation to have finite nice length, and classify such representations for certain families of quivers. Finally, we explore the Hall algebras associated to $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations of quivers. We answer the question of how a change in orientation affects the Hall algebra of nilpotent $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations of a quiver with bounded representation type. We also discuss Hall algebras associated to representations with finite nice length, and compute them for certain families of quivers.

On Topological Representation Theory from Quivers

Abstract:In this work, we introduce topological representations of a quiver as a system consisting of topological spaces and its relationships determined by the quiver. Such a setting gives a natural connection between topological representations of a quiver and diagrams of topological spaces. Firstly, we investigate the relation between the category of topological representations and that of linear representations of a quiver via P( ) - 𝒯𝒪𝒫^o and k -Mod, concerning (positively) graded or vertex (positively) graded modules. Secondly, we discuss the homological theory of topological representations of quivers via the -limit functor lim ^ , and use it to define the homology groups of topological representations of quivers via H _n . It is found that some properties of a quiver can be read from homology groups. Thirdly, we investigate the homotopy theory of topological representations of quivers. We define the homotopy equivalence between two morphisms in Top- Rep and show that the parallel Homotopy Axiom also holds for top-representations based on the homotopy equivalence. Last, we obtain the functor At^ from Top- Rep to Top and show that At^ preserves homotopy equivalence between morphisms. The relationship between the homotopy groups of a top-representation (T, f) and the homotopy groups of At^(T,f) is also established.

Abstract:We generalize quivers of type A to continuous quivers of type A and prove initial results about pointwise finite-dimensional representations. Among these results is the classification of those representations and a decomposition theorem, recovering results of Botnan and Crawley-Boevey (J Algebra Appl (2015). https://doi.org/10.1142/S0219498815500668, Decomposition of persistence modules, to appear in Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society, preprint: https://arxiv.org/pdf/1811.08946.pdf). We also classify the indecomposable pointwise finite-dimensional projective representations. Finally, we prove that many of the properties of finite-dimensional representations of quivers of type An\documentclass[12pt]{minimal}\usepackage{amsmath}\usepackage{wasysym}\usepackage{amsfonts}\usepackage{amssymb}\usepackage{amsbsy}\usepackage{mathrsfs}\usepackage{upgreek}\setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt}\begin{document}$$A_n$$\end{document} also hold for finitely generated representations of continuous quivers of type A. Abstract:Let $\Gamma\in \mathrm{SL}_2(\mathbb{C})$ be a finite subgroup. We introduce a class of projective noncommutative surfaces $\mathbb{P}^2_I$, indexed by a set of irreducible $\Gamma$-representations. Extending the action of $\Gamma$ from $\mathbb{C}^2$ to $\mathbb{P}^2$, we show that these surfaces generalise both $[\mathbb{P}^2/\Gamma]$ and $\mathbb{P}^2/\Gamma$. We prove that isomorphism classes of framed torsion-free sheaves on any $\mathbb{P}^2_I$ carry a canonical bijection to the closed points of appropriate Nakajima quiver varieties. In particular, we provide geometric interpretations for a class of Nakajima quiver varieties using noncommutative geometry. Our results partially generalise several previous results on such quiver varieties.

Abstract:This paper presents analogous results of Hua [7][8] on numbers of representations of quivers over finite fields which respect nilpotent relations under certain assumptions. A closed formula which counts isomorphism classes of absolutely indecomposable representations with given dimension vectors is given and a $q$-deformation of Weyl-Kac denominator identity is established. In principle, if the numbers of representations are known, then the numbers of isomorphism classes of absolutely indecomposable representations are known.

Abstract:Algebra Colloquium, Volume 31, Issue 03, Page 505-524, September 2024. We consider stable representations of non-Dynkin quivers with respect to a central charge. These attract a lot of interest in mathematics and physics since they can be identified with so-called BPS states. Another motivation is the work of Dimitrov et al. on the phases of stable representations of the generalized Kronecker quiver. One aim is to explain for general Euclidean and wild quivers the behavior of phases of stable representations well known in some examples. In addition, we study especially the behavior of preinjective, postprojective and regular indecomposable modules. We show that the existence of a stable representation with self-extensions implies the existence of infinitely many stables without self-extensions for rigid central charges. In this case the phases of the stable representations approach one or two limit points. In particular, the phases are not dense in two arcs. The category of representations of acyclic quivers is a special case of rigid Abelian categories which show this behavior for rigid central charges.

Abstract:It is well-known that, for a finite quiver Γ and its path algebra k Γo ver a field k, the linear-representation category Lin-RepΓ is equivalent to the kΓ-module category kΓ-Mod . The purpose of this paper is to generalize the conclusion to the so- called set-representation category Set-RepΓ and its equivalent category P (Γ)-SET � . The authors firstly introduce the definition of the set-representation category Set- RepΓ and find out its equivalent category P (Γ)-SET � . Secondly, through a finite connected quiver Γ on which all objects of P (Γ)-SETare (positively) graded, they find some interesting relations between the two categories kΓ-Mod and P (Γ)-SET � (see Corollary 3.8 and Corollary 3.9 ), although one of them is abelian while the other is not. Coxeter quiver representations in fusion categories and Gabriel's theorem

Abstract:We introduce a notion of representation for a class of generalised quivers known as Coxeter quivers. These representations are built using fusion categories associated to $U_q(\mathfrak{s}\mathfrak{l}_2)$ at roots of unity and we show that many of the classical results on representations of quivers can be generalised to this setting. Namely, we prove a generalised Gabriel's theorem for Coxeter quivers that encompasses all Coxeter--Dynkin diagrams -- including the non-crystallographic types $H$ and $I$. Moreover, a similar relation between reflection functors and Coxeter theory is used to show that the indecomposable representations correspond bijectively to the positive roots of Coxeter root systems over fusion rings.

Abstract representation theory of Dynkin quivers of type A

Abstract:We study the representation theory of Dynkin quivers of type A in abstract stable homotopy theories, including those associated to fields, rings, schemes, differential-graded algebras, and ring spectra. Reflection functors, (partial) Coxeter functors, and Serre functors are defined in this generality and these equivalences are shown to be induced by universal tilting modules, certain explicitly constructed spectral bimodules. In fact, these universal tilting modules are spectral refinements of classical tilting complexes. As a consequence we obtain split epimorphisms from the spectral Picard groupoid to derived Picard groupoids over arbitrary fields. These results are consequences of a more general calculus of spectral bimodules and admissible morphisms of stable derivators. As further applications of this calculus we obtain examples of universal tilting modules which are new even in the context of representations over a field. This includes Yoneda bimodules on mesh categories which encode all the other universal tilting modules and which lead to a spectral Serre duality result. Finally, using abstract representation theory of linearly oriented $A_n$-quivers, we construct canonical higher triangulations in stable derivators and hence, a posteriori, in stable model categories and stable $\infty$-categories.
