Abstract:For a class of Kirchhoff functional, we first give a complete classification with respect to the exponent $p$ for its $L^2$-normalized critical points, and show that the minimizer of the functional, if exists, is unique up to translations. Secondly, we search for the mountain pass type critical point for the functional on the $L^2$-normalized manifold, and also prove that this type critical point is unique up to translations. Our proof relies only on some simple energy estimates and avoids using the concentration-compactness principles. These conclusions extend some known results in previous papers.

Abstract:In this paper, we are first concerned with the exact number and expressions of the positive normalized solutions for the nonlinear Kirchhoff equation in which the frequency is unknown and to be determined by the solution. With these results, we further answer an open problem concerning the exact number of positive solutions to the Kirchhoff equation with fixed frequency. It is interesting that we observe some new phenomena, which are completely different from those for the corresponding nonlinear Schrödinger equation and which reveal the special influence of the nonlocal term.

Abstract:In this article, we study the following Kirchhoff equation with combined nonlinearities: where a , b , c > 0 , μ , λ ∈ R , 2 < q < 4 . Under different assumptions on b , c > 0 and μ ∈ R , we prove some existence, nonexistence, and asymptotic behavior of the obtained normalized solutions. When μ > 0 :(i) for 2 < q < 3 , we obtain the existence of a local minimizer ground-state solution and a mountain-pass-type solution, (ii) for q = 3 and 3 < q < 4 , we obtain the existence of a mountain-pass type ground-state solution respectively, under different assumptions. When μ < 0 and 2 < q < 4 , we prove the nonexistence result of the aforementioned problem. We also investigate the asymptotic behavior of the normalized ground-state solutions, when μ → 0 + and b → 0 + , respectively.

Abstract:We prove an almost global existence result for the Klein-Gordon equation with the Kirchhoff-type nonlinearity on T-d with Cauchy data of small amplitude epsilon. We show a lower bound epsilon(-)(2N)(-2) for the existence time with any natural number N. The proof relies on the method of normal forms and induction. The structure of the nonlinearity is good enough that proceeds normal forms up to any order.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider a class of non-autonomous Kirchhoff equations with two nonnegative potentials in ( ). Under certain basic assumptions on the potentials, the existence and nonexistence of normalized ground state solutions are classified completely by investigating equivalently the associated -constrained minimization problem. Based on some delicate estimates of the corresponding energy functional, the limit behavior of normalized ground state solutions is also analyzed as the prescribed -norm goes to infinity. Our main results extend and complement some known related results in the literature.

Abstract:Firstly, we use Nehari manifold and Mountain Pass Lemma to prove an existence result of positive solutions for a class of nonlocal elliptic system with Kirchhoff type. Then a multiplicity result is established by cohomological index of Fadell and Rabinowitz. We also consider the critical case and prove existence of positive least energy solution when the parameter $\beta$ is sufficiently large.

Abstract:In this paper, we are concerned with a Kirchhoff-Choquard type equation with L2-prescribed mass. Under different cases of the potential, we prove the existence of normalized ground state solutions to this equation. To obtain the boundedness from below of the energy functional and the compactness of the minimizing sequence, we apply the Gagliardo-Nirenberg inequality with the Riesz potential and the relationship between the different minimal energies corresponding to different mass. We also extend the results to the fractional Kirchhoff-Choquard type equation.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the existence and asymptotic properties of solutions to the following Kirchhoff equation \begin{equation}\label{1}\nonumber - \Bigl(a+b\int_{\R^3} {{{\left| {\nabla u} \right|}^2}}\Bigl) \Delta u =\lambda u+ {| u |^{p - 2}}u+\mu {| u |^{q - 2}}u \text { in } \mathbb{R}^{3} \end{equation} under the normalized constraint $\int_{{\mathbb{R}^3}} {{u}^2}=c^2$, where $a\!>\!0$, $b\!>\!0$, $c\!>\!0$, $2\!<\!q\!<\!\frac{14}{3}\!<\! p\!\leq\!6$ or $\frac{14}{3}\!<\!q\!<\! p\!\leq\! 6$, $\mu\!>\!0$ and $\lambda\!\in\!\R$ appears as a Lagrange multiplier. In both cases for the range of $p$ and $q$, the Sobolev critical exponent $p\!=\!6$ is involved and the corresponding energy functional is unbounded from below on $S_c=\Big\{ u \in H^{1}({\mathbb{R}^3}): \int_{{\mathbb{R}^3}} {{u}^2}=c^2 \Big\}$. If $2\!<\!q\!<\!\frac{10}{3}$ and $\frac{14}{3}\!<\! p\!<\!6$, we obtain a multiplicity result to the equation. If $2\!<\!q\!<\!\frac{10}{3}\!<\! p\!=\!6$ or $\frac{14}{3}\!<\!q\!<\! p\!\leq\! 6$, we get a ground state solution to the equation. Furthermore, we derive several asymptotic results on the obtained normalized solutions. Our results extend the results of N. Soave (J. Differential Equations 2020 $\&$ J. Funct. Anal. 2020), which studied the nonlinear Schrödinger equations with combined nonlinearities, to the Kirchhoff equations. To deal with the special difficulties created by the nonlocal term $({\int_{\R^3} {\left| {\nabla u} \right|} ^2}) \Delta u$ appearing in Kirchhoff type equations, we develop a perturbed Pohozaev constraint approach and we find a way to get a clear picture of the profile of the fiber map via careful analysis. In the meantime, we need some subtle energy estimates under the $L^2$-constraint to recover compactness in the Sobolev critical case.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the qualitative analysis of solutions for the following Kirchhoff equation with mixed nonlinearities with prescribed mass , where , , , , . We prove several existence results to the above problem, where is a positive parameter. Here, is the Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev upper critical exponent, which can be seen as the Sobolev critical exponent . The proof of the Palais-Smale condition is a challenge when . So we present a different method of dealing with compactness compared to the general way handling the Sobolev critical term. Finally, while for the defocusing situation , we prove an existence result by constructing a minimax characterization for the energy functional.

Abstract:By using the well-known mountain-pass theorem and Ekeland's variational principle, we prove that there exist at least two fully nontrivial solutions for a -Kirchhoff elliptic system with the Dirichlet boundary conditions and perturbation terms on a locally weighted and connected finite graph . We also present a necessary condition of the existence of semitrivial solutions for the system. Moreover, by using Ekeland's variational principle and Clark's Theorem, respectively, we prove that the system has at least one or multiple semitrivial solutions when the perturbation terms satisfy different assumptions. Finally, we present a nonexistence result of solutions.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for a Kirchhoff-type problem involving several potentials and critical nonlinearities on unbounded domain. The first main result is that the problem possesses a ground state solution concentrating around a concrete set relates to the potentials. The second one is that with the help of Nehari manifold and Ljusternik–Schnirelmann category, the relationship between the number of positive solutions and the category of the global minima set of a suitable ground energy function is established. Moreover, we present a sufficient condition for the nonexistence of ground state solution.

Abstract:In this paper, we study a type of p-Kirchhoff equation $$ -\left( a+b\int_{\mathbb{R} ^3}{\left| \nabla u \right|^pdx} \right) \varDelta _pu=\lambda \left| u \right|^{p-2}u+\left| u \right|^{q-2}u, x \in \mathbb{R}^3 $$ with the prescribed mass $$ (\int_{\mathbb{R} ^3}{\left| u \right|^{p}dx})^\frac{1}{p} = c > 0 $$ where $a>0, b > 0,\frac{3}{2} <p <3, p < q < p^{\ast}:=\frac{3p}{3-p} $,$\varDelta _pu=div\left( \left| \nabla u \right|^{p-2}\nabla u \right)$ is the p-Laplacian of $u$, $\lambda \in \mathbb{R}$ is Lagrange multiplier. We consider both $L^p$-subcritical , $L^p$-critical and $L^p$-supercritical cases. Precisely, in the $L^p$-subcritical and $L^p$-critical cases, we obtain the existence and nonexistence of the normalized solutions for the p-Kirchhoff equation. In the $L^p$-supercritical case, we obtain the existence of radial ground sates and multiplicity of radial normalized solutions for the p-Kirchhoff equation. Furthermore, we study the asymptotic behavior of normalized solutions when $b \rightarrow 0^+$. Besides, when $\frac{3}{2} < p \leq 2$, benefit from the uniqueness(up to translations) of optimizer for Gargliardo-Nirenberg inequality, we show the existence and uniqueness of normalized solutions and provide the accurate descriptions.

Abstract:A non-degeneracy theorem for positive solutions of the standard Kirchhoff model is proved in all cases except for n ≥ 5 and b ∫ R n | ∇ Q | 2 d x = 2 ( n − 4 ) n − 4 2 / ( n − 2 ) n − 2 2 . In particular, for dimensions n ≥ 5 and b ∫ R n | ∇ Q | 2 d x < 2 ( n − 4 ) n − 4 2 / ( n − 2 ) n − 2 2 , we show that there exist two non-degenerate positive solutions of the Kirchhoff equations, which seem to be completely different from the result of the standard Schrödinger equation. The effects of the non-local term on the positive solution set are also studied. We show that the non-local term has no effect on the structure of the positive solution set for dimensions 1 ≤ n ≤ 3 and the effects eventually appear for dimensions n ≥ 4 . With the non-degeneracy property of positive solutions of the limit problem, we construct concentrated solutions of a singularly perturbed Kirchhoff problem via the well-known Lyapunov–Schmidt reduction method. For dimensions n ≥ 5 , the existence result of concentrated solutions is completely new and is not implied by the main result of G.M. Figueiredo et al. in [19], where a generalized singularly perturbed Kirchhoff problem was considered.
