THE METAL-INSULATOR TRANSITION IN Na0.75Co1-xRuxO2

Abstract:The measurements of structure, resistivity, and magnetic properties were carried out for Na_ 0.75 Co_ 1-x Ru_ x O_ 2 (0x0.5)samples, which were prepared by a solid state reaction method. It is found that the unit cell parameter a and c values increase monotonously with the increasing Ru partial concentration, which indicates that the partial substitution of Ru for Co in Na_ 0.75 Co_ 1-x Ru_ x O_ 2 system is uniform and the structure of Na_ 0.75 Co_ 1-x Ru_ x O_ 2 (0x 0.5)samples remain thatin the γphaseof Na_ 0.75 CoO_ 2 . The partial substitution of Ru for Co results in a remarkable increase in resistivity for this system. For the x0 sample, the temperature dependence of resistivity, ρ(T), shows a metallic behavior in all the measuring temperature range. For the x0.01 sample, the ρ(T) relationship shows a metal-insulator (MI) transition around 37K. All the samples with x0.02 are semiconductor in all the measuring temperature range. Compared with the un-doped sample, the resistivity of x0.1 sample increases more than 5 orders in magnitude at 30 K. It is suggested that the MI transition near x0.01 in Na_ 0.75 Co_ 1-x Ru_ x O_2 system may be attribute to the Anderson electron localization in CoO_2 sheet due to the disorder. For all the Na_ 0.75 Co_ 1-x Ru_ x O_ 2 (0x 0.5)samples, no long-range magnetic order has been detected down to 2K, and the temperaturedependence of susceptibility above 100 K can be fitted using Curie-Weiss law. The susceptibility results for this system have been discussed in detail.

Abstract:Single phase Ni substituted LiCo1-xNixO2 solid solutions with x < 0.15 have been synthesized to study the effect of substitution on the magnetic behavior. Two different techniques, magnetic susceptibility and electron paramagnetic resonance, EPR which provide information in two different time windows have been used. The solid solutions have been found to be single phase with large grains conforming to R-3m rhombohedral structure. The lattice parameters c and a increase with increasing Ni substitution but with a nearly constant c/a ratio of about 4.99 in all the cases indicating that the CoO6 and LiO6 octahedra do not undergo any Jahn-Teller distortions. The room temperature EPR absorption spectra clearly shows a peak in all the compounds at a field of 314 mT corresponding to a g-factor of 2.14. The peak width however is found to be a strong function of Ni substitution; increasing with increasing Ni from 3.6 mT to 6.5 mT for x = 0.08. The magnetization increases with decreasing temperature in all the compounds, a paramagnetic behavior, unlike Li-deficient compounds which show a Pauli paramagnetic susceptibility. Also, the magnetization exhibits thermal irreversibility which vanishes at large magnetic fields in all the compounds. The unsubstituted compound has discontinuities at 200 K and 50 K corresponding to magnetic transitions which disappear on substitution with 2 % Ni for Co. The effective magnetic moment is found to increase from 0.32 Bohr magnetons to 0.66 Bohr magnetons on increasing the substitution to 0.15. The unique feature however is that all the compounds exhibit a clear magnetic hysteresis at room temperature with a finite coercivity. The coercivity increases from 31 Oe to 168 Oe for x = 0.04 and then decreases on further increasing of x. A deconvolution of the hysteresis loops clearly shows an increasing paramagnetic component with substitution.

Abstract:We have investigated the structural, magnetic, and thermal transport properties of Co1-xNixCr2O4 (0 < x < 1) to check the evolution of structural and magnetic properties upon the introduction of the Jahn-Teller active ion Ni2+. The x <= 0: 95 samples can be indexed with a cubic lattice with the space group Fd3m, whereas the x = 0: 98 sample undergoes a cubic-tetragonal structural transition, and the x. 0: 98 samples belong to a tetragonal lattice with the space group I41-amd at room temperature. All these samples undergo a paramagnetic-ferrimagnetic transition at T-C. A spiral ferrimagnetic ordering at T-S is suppressed when the amount of Ni is increased, and the abnormal magnetization at T-S for the x = 0: 6 and 0.8 samples is not pronounced. The measurements of magnetic hysteresis reveal that the x = 0: 4 and 0.6 samples possess a rather large coercivity H-C compared with the x = 0 and 1 samples. Specifically, the x = 0: 4 and 0.6 samples undergo a short-range antiferromagnetic transition above T-C. The magnetic properties of the Ni-doped samples can be understood in terms of the magnetic structure model consisting of longitudinal and transverse magnetic sublattices. Role of Ni substitution on structural, magnetic and electronic properties of epitaxial CoCr2O4 spinel thin films

Abstract:Cubic spinel CoCr2O4 has attained recent attention due to its multiferroic properties. However, the Co site substitution effect on the structural and magnetic properties has rarely been studied in thin film form. In this work, the structural and magnetic properties of Co1-xNixCr2O4 (x = 0, 0.5) epitaxial thin films deposited on MgAl2O4 (100) and MgO (100) substrates to manipulate the nature of strain in the films using pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique are presented. The epitaxial nature of the films was confirmed through X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Rutherford backscattering spectrometry (RBS) measurements. Raman measurements revealed a disappearance of characteristic A1g and F2g modes of the CoCr2O4 with increase in the Ni content. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) studies show a modification of the surface morphology upon Ni substitution. Magnetic measurements disclose that the ferrimagnetic Curie temperature (Tc) of the CoCr2O4 in thin film grown on MgAl2O4 (100) and MgO (100) substrates were found to be 100.6 +/- 0.5 K and 93.8 +/- 0.2 K, respectively. With Ni substitution the transition temperatures significantly get enhanced from that of CoCr2O4. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) suggests Cr3+ oxidation states in the films, while Co ions are present in a mixed Co2+/Co3+ oxidation state. The substitution of Ni at Co site significantly modifies the line shape of the core level as well as the valence band. Ni ions are also found to be in a mixed 2+/3+ oxidation state. O 1s core level display asymmetry related to possible defects like oxygen vacancies in the films.

Evolution of complex magnetic phases and metal-insulator transition through Nb substitution in La$_{0.5}$Sr$_{0.5}$Co$_{1-x}$Nb$_x$O$_3$

Abstract:We report the evolution of structural, magnetic, transport, and electronic properties of bulk polycrystalline La$_{0.5}$Sr$_{0.5}$Co$_{1-x}$Nb$_x$O$_3$ ($x =$ 0.025--0.25) samples. The Rietveld refinement of the x-ray diffraction patterns with R$\bar3$c space group reveals that the lattice parameters and rhombohedral distortion monotonously increase with the Nb$^{5+}$(4$d^0$) substitution ($x$). The magnetic susceptibility exhibits a decrease in the magnetic ordering temperature and net magnetization with $x$, which manifests that the Nb substitution dilutes the ferromagnetic (FM) double exchange interaction and enhances the antiferromagnetic (AFM) super-exchange interaction. Interestingly, for the $x>$ 0.1 samples the FM order is completely suppressed and the emergence of a glassy state is clearly evident. Moreover, the decrease in the coercivity (H$\rm_{C}$) and remanence (M$\rm_{r}$) with $x$ in the magnetic isotherms measured at 5~K further confirms the dominance of AFM interactions and reduction of FM volume fraction for the $x>$ 0.1 samples. More interestingly, we observe resistivity minima for the $x=$ 0.025 and 0.05 samples, which are analyzed using the quantum corrections in the conductivity, and found that the weak localization effect dominates over the renormalized electron-electron interactions in the 3D limit. Further, a semiconducting resistivity behavior is obtained for $x>$ 0.05, which follows the Arrhenius law at high temperatures ($\sim$160--320~K), and the 3D-variable range hopping prevails in the low-temperature region ($<$160~K). The core-level photoemission spectra confirm the valence state of constituent elements and the absence of Co$^{2+}$ is discernible.

Abstract:Predicting and understanding the cation distribution in spinels has been one of the most interesting problems in materials science. The present work investigates the effect of cation redistribution on the structural, electrical, optical and magnetic properties of mixed-valent inverse spinel NiCo2O4(NCO) thin films. It is observed that the films grown at low temperatures (T < 400 °C) exhibit metallic behavior while that grown at higher temperatures (T > 400 °C) are insulators with lower ferrimagnetic-paramagnetic phase transition temperature. So far, n-type Fe3O4 has been used as a conducting layer for the spinel thin films based devices and the search for a p-type counterpart still remains elusive. The inherent coexistence and coupling of ferrimagnetic order and the metallic nature in p-type NCO makes it a promising candidate for spintronic devices. Detailed X-ray Absorption and X–ray Magnetic Circular Dichroism studies revealed a strong correlation between the mixed-valent cation distribution and the resulting ferrimagnetic-metallic/insulating behavior. Our study clearly demonstrates that it is the concentration of Ni3+ions and the Ni3+–O2−Ni2+ double exchange interaction that is crucial in dictating the metallic behavior in NCO ferrimagnet. The metal-insulator and the associated magnetic order-disorder transitions can be tuned by the degree of cation site disorder via growth conditions.
Metallic Ferromagnetism in Ni-Doped La0.7sr0.3coo3

Abstract:The structure, magnetization, and electrical transport of perovskite cobaltites La0.7Sr0.3Co1-yNiyO3 have been studied. It is found that the substitution of Ni for Co induces no apparent changes in bond length and angle in the Co(Ni)-O network, and only moderately suppresses the ferromagnetism. Moreover, a retention of the metallic conduction has been observed from y=0 to 0.2, which is in strong contrast to the reported insulating state of the other Co site doped La0.7Sr0.3CoO3. A double-exchange-like interaction between Ni ion and its neighboring Co ion is suggested to explain the experimental results. (C) 2002 American Institute of Physics.
Appearance and disappearance of superconductivity in SmFe1-xNixAsO (x = 0.0 to 1.0)

Abstract:Bulk polycrystalline Ni-substituted SmFe1-xNixAsO (x = 0.0 to 1.0) samples are synthesized by solid state reaction route in an evacuated sealed quartz tube. The cell volume decreases with increase of Ni content in SmFe1-xNixAsO, thus indicating successful substitution of smaller ion Ni at Fe site. The resistivity measurements showed that the spin-density-wave (SDW) transition is suppressed drastically with Ni doping and subsequently superconductivity is achieved in a narrow range of x from 0.04 to 0.10 with maximum Tc of 9K at x = 0.06. For higher content of Ni (x > 0.10), the system becomes metallic and superconductivity is not observed down to 2K. The magneto-transport [R(T)H] measurements exhibited the upper critical field [Hc2(0)] of up to 300kOe. The flux flow activation energy (U/kB) is estimated ~98.37K for 0.1T field. Magnetic susceptibility measurements also confirms bulk superconductivity for x = 0.04, 0.06 and 0.08 samples. The lower critical field (Hc1) is around 100Oe at 2K for x = 0.06 sample. Heat capacity CP(T) measurements exhibited a hump like transition pertaining to SDW in Fe planes at around 150K and an AFM ordering of Sm spins below temperature of 5.4K for ordered Sm spins [TN(Sm)]. Though, the SDW hump for Fe spins disappears for Ni doped samples, the TN (Sm) remains unaltered but with a reduced transition height, i.e., decreased entropy. In conclusion, complete phase diagram of SmFe1-xNixAsO (x = 0.0 to 1.0) is studied in terms of its structural, electrical, magnetic and thermal properties.

Abstract:We present in-plane optical measurements on NaxCoO2 single crystals with x = 0.5, 0.7 and 0.85. We found that the spectral weight associated with the conducting carriers increases with decreasing Na contents. Anomalous charge dynamics for samples in the metallic regime was revealed. For x = 0.5 compound in the charge ordered state, the reflectance was strongly suppressed below 250 cm(-1), resulting in a gap in conductivity spectrum. Similar but weak features have been found for x = 0.85 sample below 20 K. The optical data highlight the importance of charge ordering tendencies of Co ions in NaxCoO2. In addition, a strong coupling effect of electron with a bosonic mode was also revealed. (c) 2005 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
Effects of Mn-substitution for Co on the structure and physical properties of NayCoO2

Abstract:Structure, transport and magnetic properties have been investigated for layered NaCo1-xMnxO2 materials. With the increase of Mn-doping amount, measurements of x-ray diffraction indicate that the in-plane lattice parameter a decreases progressively, and, conversely, the lattice parameter c increases rapidly. Small amount of Mn doping (i.e. 3% Mn in our work) could result in a metal-insulator transition. Electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS) measurement shows that the Co valence is about 3.3 and remains unchanged with doping. In contrast, the valence of Mn increases rapidly with doping and reaches 3.7 for the sample with x=0.5. The temperature dependence of magnetization of the samples is found to obey the Curie-Weiss law. Some relevant results have been discussed in terms of the disorder effect induced by doping of magnetic ions.
Sign change in c-axis thermal expansion constant and lattice collapse by Ni substitution in transition-metal zirconide superconductor Co1-xNixZr2

Abstract:Recently, c-axis negative thermal expansion (NTE) was observed in a CoZr2 superconductor and related transition-metal zirconides. Here, we investigated the structural, electronic, and superconducting properties of Co1-xNixZr2 to achieve systematic control of c-axis NTE and switching from NTE to positive thermal expansion (PTE) by Ni substitution. At x ≤ 0.3, c-axis NTE was observed, and the thermal expansion constant αc approached zero with increasing x. At x = 0.4-0.6, c-axis thermal expansion close to zero thermal expansion (ZTE) was observed, and PTE appeared for x ≥ 0.7. On the superconducting properties, we observed bulk superconductivity for x ≤ 0.6, and bulk nature of superconductivity is suppressed by Ni heavy doping (x ≥ 0.7). For x ≤ 0.6, the evolution of the electronic density of states well explains the change in the superconducting transition temperature (Tc), which suggests conventional phonon-mediated superconductivity in the system. By analyzing the c/a ratio, we observed a possible collapsed transition in the tetragonal lattice at around x = 0.6-0.8. The lattice collapse would be the cause of the suppression of superconductivity in Ni-rich Co1-xNixZr2 and the switching from NTE to PTE.
Metal-insulator-metal Transition in NdNiO3 Films Capped by CoFe2O4

Abstract:Metal-insulator transition features as a transformation, from a highly charge conductive state to another state where charge conductivity is greatly suppressed when decreasing the temperature. Here we demonstrate two consecutive transitions in NdNiO3 films with CoFe2O4 capping, in which the metal-insulator transition occurs at 85 K, followed by an unprecedented insulator-metal transition below 40 K. The emerging insulator-metal transition associated with a weak antiferromagnetic behavior is observed in 20 unit cell-thick NdNiO3 with more than 5 unit cell CoFe2O4 capping. Differently, the NdNiO3 films with thinner CoFe2O4 capping only exhibit metal-insulator transition at 85 K, accompanied by a strong antiferromagnetic state below 40 K. Charge transfer from Co to Ni, instead of from Fe to Ni, formulates the ferromagnetic interaction between Ni-Ni and Ni-Co atoms, thus suppressing the antiferromagnetic feature and producing metallic conductive behavior. Furthermore, a phase diagram for the metal-insulator-metal transition in this system is drawn.
Effects of Co substitution on the structural and magnetic properties of Sr(Ni$_{1-x}$Co$_x$)$_2$P$_2$

Abstract:Although SrNi$_2$P$_2$ adopts the common ThCr$_2$Si$_2$ structure for $T\geq 325$ K, being in an uncollapsed tetragonal (ucT) state, on cooling below 325 K it adopts a one-third collapsed orthorhombic (tcO) phase where one out of every three P-rows bond across the Sr layers. On the other hand, SrCo$_2$P$_2$ only exhibits the uncollapsed ThCr$_2$Si$_2$ structure from room temperature down to 1.8 K. Neither SrNi$_2$P$_2$ nor SrCo$_2$P$_2$ manifest magnetic transitions down to 50 mK and 2 K, respectively. In this work we report the effects of Co substitution in Sr(Ni$_{1-x}$Co$_x$)$_2$P$_2$, which allows for tuning the transition between the one-third collapsed and the uncollapsed structure. We find a rapid decrease of the one-third collapsed structural transition temperature with increasing Co fraction, until reaching full suppression for $x \geq 0.1$. Substitution levels in the range $0.11\leq x\leq 0.58$ show no signs of any transition down to 1.8 K in the magnetization or resistance measurements in the range $1.8\ \text{K}\leq T\leq 300\ \text{K}$. However, different magnetically ordered states emerge for $x\geq 0.65$, and disappear for $x\geq 0.99$, recovering the known paramagnetic properties of the parent compound SrCo$_2$P$_2$. These results are summarized in a phase diagram, built upon the characterization done on single crystals with different Co fraction. Both the magnetic and structural properties are compared to other systems with ThCr$_2$Si$_2$ structure that exhibit magnetic ordering and collapsed tetragonal transitions. The magnetic ordering and moment formation are well described by Takahashi's spin fluctuation theory of itinerant electron magnetism.

Abstract:The structural transitions, magnetic properties, and electronic structures of Co(Fe)-doped MnNiSi compounds are investigated by x-ray powder diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), magnetic measurements, and first-principles calculations. Results indicate that all samples undergo a martensitic transition from the Ni2In-type parent phase to TiNiSi-type orthorhombic phase at high temperatures. The substitution of Co(Fe) for Mn in Mn1-xCoxNiSi (x = 0.2, 0.3, 0.4) and Mn1-yFeyNiSi (y = 0.26, 0.30, 0.36, 0.46, 0.55) samples decreases the structural transition temperature (Tt) and Curie temperature of martensite (TCM). The martensite phases show a typical ferromagnetic behavior with saturation field (HS) being basically unchanged with increasing Co(Fe) content, while the saturation magnetization (MS) shows a decreasing tendency. The theoretically calculated moments are in good agreement with the experimentally measured results. The orbital hybridizations between different 3d elements are analyzed from the distribution of density of states.

Incoherent Effect of Fe and Ni Substitutions in the Ferromagnetic-Insulator La0.6Bi0.4MnO3+d

Abstract:A comparative study of the effect of Fe and Ni doping on the bismuth based perovskite La0.6Bi0.4MnO3.1, a projected spintronics magnetic semiconductor has been carried out. The doped systems show an expressive change in magnetic ordering temperature. However, the shifts in ferromagnetic transition (TC) of these doped phases are in opposite direction with respect to the parent phase TC of 115 K. The Ni-doped phase shows an increase in TC ~200 K, whereas the Fe-doped phase exhibits a downward shift to TC~95 K. Moreover, the Fe-doped is hard-type whereas the Ni-doped compound is soft-type ferromagnet. It is observed that the materials are semiconducting in the ferromagnetic phase with activation energies of 77 & 82 meV for Fe & Ni-doped phases respectively. In the presence of external magnetic field of 7 Tesla, they exhibit minor changes in the resistivity behaviours and the maximum isothermal magnetoresistance is around -20 % at 125 K for the Ni-phase. The results are explained on the basis of electronic phase separation and competing ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interactions between the various mixed valence cations.

Abstract:Structure and transport properties of the layered materials NaxCoO2 (0.48≤x≤0.76) have been investigated. With the increase of x, the in-plane lattice parameter a increases while the lattice parameter c decreases. The lattice parameter c of our samples is much smaller than that of the samples whose Na content was controlled by chemical de-intercalation from Na0.77CoO2 [Foo et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 92 (2004) 247001]. The temperature dependence of electrical resistivity of NaxCoO2 shows that all the samples remain metallic and the resistivity reaches a minimum around x=0.68. A jump in dρ/dT was observed at certain temperature, which depends on x. The difference of electrical transport property between NaxCoO2 prepared by solid-state reaction and NaxCoO2 obtained by chemical de-intercalation from Na0.77CoO2 was also discussed by considering the lattice parameter difference.
Metal-insulator transition in Nd1-xEuxNiO3 probed by specific heat and anelastic measurements

Abstract:Oxides RNiO3 (R = rare-earth, R # La) exhibit a metal-insulator (MI) transition at a temperature TMI and an antiferromagnetic (AF) transition at TN. Specific heat (CP) and anelastic spectroscopy measurements were performed in samples of Nd1-xEuxNiO3, 0 <= x <= 0.35. For x = 0, a peak in CP is observed upon cooling and warming at essentially the same temperature TMI = TN ~ 195 K, although the cooling peak is much smaller. For x >= 0.25, differences between cooling and warming curves are negligible, and two well defined peaks are clearly observed: one at lower temperatures, that define TN, and the other one at TMI. An external magnetic field of 9 T had no significant effect on these results. The elastic compliance (s) and the reciprocal of the mechanical quality factor (Q^-1) of NdNiO3, measured upon warming, showed a very sharp peak at essentially the same temperature obtained from CP, and no peak is observed upon cooling. The elastic modulus hardens below TMI much more sharply upon warming, while the cooling and warming curves are reproducible above TMI. On the other hand, for the sample with x = 0.35, s and Q^-1 curves are very similar upon warming and cooling. The results presented here give credence to the proposition that the MI phase transition changes from first to second order with increasing Eu doping.

Abstract:By using pseudopotential method with local spin density functional approximation, the electronic band structures of Na$_{x}$CoO$_{2}$ are calculated for $x=0.25$, 0.5, 0.75, and $x=1$ in the presence of the structure relaxations. As increasing Na content, the hybridization between cobalt and oxygen orbitals is decreased, and a phase transition is predicted from a wide-band ferromagnetic to a narrow band paramagnetic metals. The itinerant ferromagnetism is strongly suppressed by the local distortions of the oxygens around the cobalts. Moreover, straining the CoO$_{2}$ layers corresponding to the hydrated superconductor Na$_{0.35}$CoO$_{2}\cdot $1.3H$%_{2}$O strongly enhances both the hybridization and ferromagnetism.

Abstract:The study reports on the magnetization, magnetoresistance, and transport properties of superparamagnetic 10% Co-doped Ni/NiO (C10-NN), Graphene Oxide (GO) incorporated 10% Co-doped Ni/NiO (C10-NNG), and 15% Co-doped Ni/NiO (C15-NN) nanoparticles synthesized via a microwave-assisted sol-gel auto-combustion method. All samples show hysteresis in negative Magnetoresistance (M-R) at different temperatures. Resistivity ρ (T) versus temperature plots of samples C10-NN and C15-NN show metallic behavior with applied fields of 0, 1, 5, 8 T, and at 0 T, 1 T respectively. However, the plot of R-T of the C15-NN sample shows a significant difference at 0 T and 1 T. At 0 T for this sample, the metallic behavior is observed for temperature T > T M , with the resistivity falling abruptly at and above T M = 246 K. The resistivity decreases with increasing temperature, exhibiting metallic behavior again above T MM < 276 K. This jump at 276 K, indicating a metal-to metal transition. The Kondo effect is observed for the first time in C10-NNG sample. The upturn of resistivity ρ (T) towards low temperature in the C10-NNG sample is well described by the power series equation and Kondo term. This sample exhibits the upturn resistivity along with a metal–insulator transition above and below the Kondo temperature T K ≈ 93.51(2) K at the 0 T, 1 T, 5 T, and 8 T fields.

Abstract:Local magnetostructural changes and dynamical spin fluctuations in doubly diluted spinel Mn 1-x Ti x (Co 1-y Fe y ) 2 O 4 has been reported by means of neutron diffraction and magnetization studies. Two distinct set of compositions (i) x = 0.8 and y = 0.18 and (ii) x = 0.6 and y = 0.435 have been considered for the analysis. The first set of equivalent stoichiometry (Mn 0.80 Ti 0.20 Fe 0.36 Co 1.64 O 4 ) exhibits enhanced tetragonal distortion across the ferrimagnetic Néel temperatures (T FN as high as 298 K) in comparison to the end compound MnCo 2 O 4 (T FN ~180 K) with a characteristic ratio c t /√ t of 0.99795(8). However, in the second case with higher B-site compositions, the presence of Jahn-Teller ions with distinct behavior appears to counterbalance the strong tetragonal distortion. Both the investigated systems show the coexistence of noncollinear antiferromagnetic and ferrimagnetic components in cubic and tetragonal settings. On the other hand, the dynamical ac-susceptibility, χ ac (T) reveals a cluster spin-glass state with Gaby-Toulouse (GT) like mixed phases behavior below T FN . Such dispersive behavior appears to be sensitive to the level of octahedral substitution. Further, the field dependence of χ ac (T) follows the weak anisotropic GT-line behavior with crossover exponent Φ lies in the range 1.38 - 1.52 on the H-T plane which is in contrast to the B-site Ti substituted MnCo2O4 spinel that appears to follow irreversible non-mean-field AT-line behavior (Φ ~ 3 + δ). Finally, the Arrott plots analysis indicates the presence of a pseudo first-order like transition (T < 20 K) which is in consonance with and zero crossover of the magnetic entropy change within the frozen spin-glass regime.
