Abstract:ABSTRACT Introduction Basketball has become a part of college students’ after-school life mainly due to the widespread basketball culture on the college campus, especially due to the successful promotion of NBA, CBA, college basketball super league, and other elite sports events. Objective This study aims to study the frequently occurring basketball sports injuries among college basketball graduate students, determine the causes and characteristics of these sports injuries, and propose preventive measures. Methods Based on the anatomical structure and function of the knee joint and the sports characteristics of basketball, 92 college basketball athletes were statistically analyzed for their sports injuries during 12 weeks of training through questionnaires, expert interviews, and other research methods. Results The types of injuries college basketball players mainly reported were concerning meniscus and medial collateral ligament injury, followed by knee bursitis and, finally, anterior cruciate ligament injury. Conclusion With the continuous growth of the basketball training period, the proportion of sports injuries to the knee joints of sports training students gradually decreased. Abstract:Based on the investigation of basketball sports injury of the students in University, the questionnaire was collected, and the location and incidence rate of students in basketball were: finger(26.42%),ankle joint(22.54%),knee joint(11.92%),wrist(10.10%) and back(8.81%).The cause and incidence of damage are: to prepare activities(30.9%),to break the rules(25.13%), the technical error (19.43%),and the site(13.47%).Through literature review, interview method, mathematical statistics method, logical analysis method, the conclusion is that college students in basketball sports injury, because they do not seriously do the preparatory activities, technical differences, poor thinking, self-protection awareness, etc. Finally, some suggestions are put forward to reduce the student injury in basketball.

Abstract:This study employs literature review, questionnaire surveys, and statistical analysis to investigate and analyze ankle injuries among students who take basketball as an elective course, exploring the locations, types, causes, and preventive measures of these injuries. The main reasons for ankle injuries in basketball are identified as improper warm-up activities, lack of awareness, poor physical fitness, poor quality of the venue, low technical level, high sports load, and emotional venting under pressure, among others. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance students' awareness of sports, master self-protection methods, reasonably arrange warm-up activities, standardize technical movements, adjust students' psychological emotions, and standardize the use of venue equipment to reduce the occurrence of sports injuries.

Abstract:Objective Explore the reason of university students’ athletic injury to guide students’ physical training correctly and reduce or prevent sports from damaging. Method A total of 1105 undergratuates in peking University have been statistiacally analysed about kinetic wounds, which of nascence attribute、site and correlative sports-item. Results In these sorts of kinetic wouds, of these soft tissue wound-rate is higher than another, it is 89 per cent in all of these. wounded part mainly distributed in ankle, foot, knee, and respectively reach to 23.0%, 19.6% and 16.0%. the major wounds come from these ball games (football、basketball、volleyball), which is 67.5 per cent. Concusion The joint part of upper and lower limbs and soft tissue are easily injured for the university students, the article analyse the wound reasons, and offer some pieces of advise about how to protect against the kinetic wound.

Abstract:ABSTRACT Introduction: Basketball is a combative sport, very popular among college students. However, it requires many periods of running, interspersed with emergency breaks, tackling, and other actions prone to ankle injuries. Objective: Investigate the causes of ankle joint injuries in college basketball, raising countermeasures to prevent these sports injuries. Methods: 413 college students who regularly participate in basketball games at 10 colleges and universities were selected as research objects. The causes of ankle joint injuries in the process of this sport were investigated through questionnaires, and the main causes of injuries were analyzed using statistical methods. Results: The causes of ankle joint injuries in college basketball include subjective and objective factors. Subjective factors include inadequate psychological preparation, warm-up exercise, cushioning, and excessive exercise, among others listed; objective factors mainly contemplate local injury and accidental injury. Conclusion: The participation of college students in basketball is beneficial to improve their physical health, requiring effective measures to prevent possible ankle injuries, both related to subjective and objective aspects. Abstract:ABSTRACT Assessing the performance of basketball players is very important in the implementation of technical training programs. The application of electromyography (EMG) in basketball players is still relatively small. The evaluation of athletes’ muscle state index by EMG can guide sports training. This study used surface electromyography to test and compare EMG data, analyze muscle discharge timing, contribution rate and integral EMG value of the turning movement, aiming to explore the prevention mechanism of different types of injury affecting basketball players. The synchronous measurement model of EMG signal and plantar pressure curve in jump shot process of basketball players is established to deepen coaches’ understanding of jump shot movement rules and guide athletes to conduct scientific jump shot training. The research shows that the incidence of knee joint injury is relatively high in basketball players. Patella strain and softening, knee meniscus injury and cruciate ligament injury are the main types of injury, and there is no difference between genders.

Abstract:Using the methods of questionnaire, interview and mathematical statistics, this paper made a spot check on the undergraduates as well as graduates' sporrts exercise and physical condition of six universities in Beijing district.The investigation outcome was frustrated since the total number of the studets who can insist on physical training three times per week is less than 20% compared with al lthe people who accepted the investigation.The common excuses they often adopted are the busy course schedule, excessive homework and very poor sport conditionings.The author of this article thus propose to the relative education administrative department to put more emphasis on the physical education of the undergraduates as well as the graduate students in the universities.

Abstract:The research purposes were to explore the high-risk injury factors of basketball players' lower limb patellar tendon enthesis based on medical big data and accurately recognize players' lower limb injuries. Middle school students in Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province, were included as the research samples. Innovatively, deep learning and artificial intelligence were applied for statistics and analysis of the collected data. The training of included samples was tracked to collect kinetic and biological data and then to analyze the high-risk injury factors of lower limbs. The analysis of basic information of the participants indicated no significant differences between the two groups. Deep learning algorithm analysis suggests that the accuracy of high-risk group and non-high-risk group is 66.82% and 66.20%, respectively. The analysis of the mechanical characteristics of patellar tendon ends of participants indicated that when the maximum flexion angles of the knee joints of the high-risk group were significantly greater than that of the non-high-risk lower limb group, there were statistically significant differences (P < 0.01). The analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the lower limbs revealed that in different action phases, the impulses of the high-risk lower limbs in the stretching and extension phase of drop landing and jump were significantly greater than that of the non-high-risk lower limbs group. In addition, in the buffer phase and the stretching and extension phase of stop jump, the impulses of lower limbs before the injury were smaller than that after the injury in the same action phases, and the differences between the impulses of stretching and extension were statistically significant (P < 0.01). The research results have processed the data through the deep learning algorithm and the parallel computing to find a joint angle that is most appropriate to make the concentration capacities of muscles reach the maximum value during the movements, thereby the damages and injuries of the body would be the lowest. The results provide a new idea for the selection of basketball court material coefficient.

Abstract:Objective To analyze the present epidemiological situation of injuries among Chinese college students and to provide basis for injuries prevention and control.Methods Stratified cluster sampling was used to select 47 541 college students in 27 provinces and cities of China and an anonymous questionnaire survey was conducted.Results The incidence of injuries of college students was 12.3%,15.4% for male and 9.8 for female.Sprain and fall were the main causes of injuries and the most common types of body damage were bone-joint injuries and cut.Most injury incidents happened in school.Injuries epidemiology was different with sex,grade and school type.Conclusion College students are high-risk population for injury and the burden of injury is serious.More active measures for prevention and control should be carried out.

Abstract:In order to solve the problem of observing the effect of rehabilitation physical training on basketball player injury, a kind of observation study on the effect of rehabilitation physical training on basketball player injury based on memory ultrasound examination was proposed. This study makes a comprehensive analysis of physical fitness training factors such as physical fitness test plan, training arrangement, training method, training monitoring, and effect evaluation. Through the experiment, it is found that there are still gaps in physical training, diagnostic standards, training plans and requirements, load monitoring, standardization of operation, nutrition, and recovery in the training organization. There are only 23.81% of full-time physical coaches and 25.40% of professional team doctors at all levels of sports teams. There were only 23.81% of full-time physical fitness coaches and 25.40% of professional team doctors in all levels of sports teams. Basketball players in the basketball injury survey had 67 sports injuries throughout the year, with a rate of 3.35 injuries per person and 2.48 injuries per 1000 hours. The location of chronic injuries is usually the lower back, knee joint, and ankle. The main injuries are due to the physical component, with injuries occurring most frequently throughout the training season in July, August, and September. Experiments show that good and professional physical training can reduce the risk of injury to a greater extent than strengthening the specific skills of athletes.

Abstract:Objective: Basketball consists of a contact sport that involved actions such as running, jumps, and abrupt changes in direction several times and these repetitive movements can lead to injuries. The objective of this study was to verify the epidemiology of musculoskeletal injuries and risk factors in basketball players.Methods: The sample comprises 361 basketball athletes Southern Portugal, being 238 (65.9%) males, aged between 10 and 53-years-old. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire with questions about the population characterization and related to the basketball practice and injuries.Results: Two hundred and thirty-nine (66.2%) players referred an injury throughout their practice, totaling 494 injuries, and 174 (48.2%) players reported an injury in the previous year, with a total of 244 injuries. There were 2.72 injuries/1,000 h of basketball training. The most common injuries were sprain (43.8%), the most injured body area was the ankle (40.1%) and the principal injury mechanism was the impact with another athlete (19.4%). The basketball players who trained more than 4 times a week showed a 2.21 greater chance to develop injury (95% CI: 1.3-3.5; p=0.003) than those who trained less often.Conclusion: This study showed a high prevalence of injuries in this analyzed sample, being the ankle and knee the most injured body areas, the sprain the more prevalent type of injury, and the impact with another player the main mechanism of injury. The data obtained can be used to create training programs with the objective of preventing injuries on basketball players.

Abstract:Abstract The relevance of the study is conditioned upon the widespread occurrence of knee injuries in athletes when playing basketball, in particular, damage to the cartilage system of the knee joint. Such a feature of injury causes the fact that basketball players may develop post-traumatic chondropathy with a subsequent change in the functional state of knee joints, which is inextricably linked with a decrease in the quality of life, the occurrence of pain syndrome, shortening of career duration, an increased risk of surgical interventions, and possible disability in the long-term perspective. This paper is aimed at uncovering modern ideas about the impact of post-traumatic chondropathy on the functional state of knee joints in athletes during basketball games. The method for this paper was the search for relevant studies concerning the formulated problem, the collection of information and drawing conclusions. Given the character of the basketball game, knee injuries, both acute and chronic, are widespread among athletes of this sport, including cartilaginous defects of the knee joint, which often occur in athletes. The materials of the paper are of practical value for sports medicine doctors, physiotherapists, traumatologists since it presents the main mechanisms of knee injuries in athletes when playing basketball and the possible consequences of these injuries in the long term.

Abstract:Basketball, as a highly popular ball game, has become increasingly exciting in both time and space. Therefore, basketball players must have good physical fitness. They need to adapt to changing environments and master corresponding technical actions. In sports, it is usually necessary to break away from the opponent’s defense by moving quickly and stopping quickly. Defensive players must make accurate predictions based on the enemy’s technical movements, which are often accompanied by intense physical confrontation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes and characteristics of ankle joint injuries in basketball players, propose treatment suggestions and preventive measures, and prevent ankle joint injuries. Firstly, the reasons for ankle joint injuries were explained, and a brief analysis was made of the characteristics of ankle joint injuries in the project and the technical actions that can easily cause ankle joint injuries. Next, this article considers preventive measures to avoid ankle joint injuries and proposes methods for preventing and treating ankle joint injuries during exercise. Afterwards, data mining methods were used to study the research mechanism of ankle joint injury, in order to promote the research mechanism of ankle joint injury. Through experiments and analysis, RBF neural network algorithm was introduced into the ankle joint injury research mechanism, and the new ankle joint injury research mechanism could enhance the therapeutic effect by 10.7%.

Abstract:Objective To investigate the prevalence and risk factors of injuries among middle school students in Shunyi District of Beijing,and to explore effective injury intervention strategies.Methods A total of 861 junior high school students and967 senior high school students who were selected through stratified cluster random sampling were implemented with a questionnaire survey.Results The incidence of injuries among students was 18.38%,with higher incidence for boys(24.40%) than girls(12.93%),junior schools(20.67%) than senior schools(16.34%).Sprain,fall injury,and self-injury were the most common cause of injury among middle school students.Bone and joint injuries,and cutting were the most common injuries symptoms.About67.25% of injuries occurred at school.Nearly half of injuries among boys occurred in the gyms,and about 20% of injuries among girls occurred at home.Gender,grade,type of family,and academic performance were the influencing factors of injuries.The risk of injuries among boys was 2.01 times higher than that of girls,the risk of injuries among students from single-parent families and restructuring families was 1.81 and 3.89 times higher than that of students from nuclear families,respectively.Conclusion Targeted measures should be taken by schools and families according to the type and characteristics of injury among middle school students.Comprehensive interventions of injuries should be proposed and strengthened especially in places with relatively higher incidence of injury.

Abstract:ABSTRACT Introduction: The research and development of new methods of injury diagnosis and rehabilitation training in benefits to the health and training of athletes is a contemporary priority. Among modern techniques, diagnostic imaging technology stands out. Objective: Study the auxiliary effect of imaging technology in the diagnosis and rehabilitation training of functional knee joint injuries in basketball practice. Methods: 50 basketball players diagnosed and treated in the past four years for knee joint function injuries in a special hospital were selected, including 28 male and 22 female athletes, aged 17 to 25 years. PerkinElmer Spotlight-300 FTIR spectral imaging system was used to scan the articular cartilage sections, visible light and total absorption images of the samples were obtained by reflection mode imaging. Results: The peak infrared feature of the articular cartilage measured by the infrared spectrum imaging technology is very consistent with the FTIR spectrum. After rehabilitation training, the Y test score of female patients increased from 96.72 ± 6.05 to 105.40 ± 4.23, and the Y test score of male patients increased from 98.34 ± 5.33 to 105.51 ± 4.89, showing significant differences. Conclusion: Infrared spectrum imaging technology is an effective technique for identifying functional knee joint injury, and is of great use for diagnosis and training update in basketball players with knee trauma. Abstract:ABSTRACT Introduction: Kungfu is a traditional Chinese sports activity, and many optional courses are offered in many universities. However, during kung fu practice, sports injuries can be caused. Objective: Investigate the most common types of sports injuries caused by kung fu practice and present intervention countermeasures. Methods: A total of 612 college students practicing kung fu at 5 universities were investigated, and a 12-week follow-up survey was conducted to collect data on the types, causes, and injury grades of their sports injuries. According to the survey results, reasonable prevention and intervention measures were formulated to ensure the safety of kung fu practice. Results: The sports injuries caused by kung fu practice mainly occurred at the waist, knees, and ankles, and the types of sports injuries were mainly by ligament strain, which was mainly caused by improper preparation, poor physical functioning, and mental state, incorrect technical movements, etc. Conclusion: Kung fu practice can improve the physical health of college students, but it can also lead to sports injuries, especially to the pelvic girdle, knees, and ankles. Strict preventive measures should be taken to prevent sports injuries from affecting the physical health of college students. Abstract:Basketball is a contact sport that involves intricate hops, spins, and direction changes that frequently result in musculoskeletal injuries to all parts of the body (Andreoli, 2018). Ankle injuries in basketball are among of the most frequent and serious injuries that can occur. An ankle injury accounted for more than half of the total time missed due to an injury in basketball, according to an Australian basketball study. Thus, it is clear that the understanding of injuries is important for the protection as well as the prevention of injuries. The proposed study tries to find out the common injuries and vulnerable part of injuries among basketball players so that further implementations can be done for prevention of injuries and betterment of the performances. A total of 100 players was selected by the researcher who participated in the inter-college, basketball championship for the proposed study. The questionnaire was developed with the help of panel of expert in the field for the required study. Percentage method was used by the researcher in order to get the result from the raw data and it was later exhibited in form of pie charts and tables with the help of MS Excel. Analyzing the data, the findings pertaining to questions related to common injuries have been presented from graphically in form of pie chart. When asked about the soft tissue injuries in basketball, 58% of the subject said sprain is the most common soft tissue injury that happens in basketball, 27% said strain is the most common injury in basketball and 15% said abrasion is the most common injury in basketball. The study concludes that soft tissues injuries are the most common and joint injuries are the least common injury in basketball, In soft tissue injury, sprain is the most common injury in basketball, In bone injury, oblique fracture is the most common fracture that occurs in basketball, In joint injury, sub-luxation is more common than luxation in basketball, The chances of getting an injury in the lower extremity is the highest and the middle part of the body is the lowest in basketball, In the lower extremity, the chances of injuries in ankle are the highest in basketball, In the upper extremity, the chances of injury in elbow are the highest in basketball, In the middle part of the body, the chances of injury in lower back are the highest in basketball.

Abstract:Objective To analyze the present epidemiological situation of injury related risk behaviors among Beijing middle school students and to provide bases for injuries prevention and control.Methods An anonymous questionnaire survey was conducted among 13 697 students in grade 7-12,who were selected by stratified cluster sampling in 2008.Results Among the students,9.3% often/always jaywalk,42.1% had violated traffic rules when ridding bicycle;5.5% had swam in informal swimming pools,5.9% had ice-skating in informal skating rink;11.5% had carried knife or stick,22.4% had been in physical fight;risk behaviors related to fall injury were common and risk behaviors related to drugs,poisoning,electrical and blast injury happened in these students.Risk behavior incidence was different with sex,grade and school type.Conclusion Middle school students are at high-risk for kinds of injury related risk behaviors.More active measures for injury prevention and control should be carried out.
