Abstract:In this paper, we describe several stationary conditions on weak solutions to the inhomogeneous Landau-Lifshitz equation, which ensure the partial regularity. For certain class of proper stationary weak solutions, a compactness result of the solutions, a finite Hausdorff measure result of the t -slice energy concentration sets and an asymptotic limit result of the Radon measures are proved. We also present a subtle rectifiability result for the energy concentration set of certain sequence of strong stationary weak solutions.

Abstract:Consider the following elliptic system (0.1) (-Δ)u=f(u,v), (-Δ)v=g(u,v), where f and g are continuous functions and satisfy the finite total curvature conditions. Recently, Guo and Liu (2008) derived Liouville-type results for the positive solution of the semilinear elliptic system (0.1) in the whole space ℝN (N ⩾ 3). However, the case N = 2 is different and difficult because u and v may change signs. Using the method of moving spheres in the integral form combined with integral inequalities, we give a complete classification of the classical solutions to the above system in ℝ2. This seems the first result for the classification of solutions (u, v) (here u and v are not required to be positive solutions) to the critical order system (0.1) in the two-dimensional case.

Abstract:In this paper, we mainly establish the existence of at least three non-trivial solutions for a class of nonhomogeneous quasilinear elliptic systems with Dirichlet boundary value or Neumann boundary value in a bounded domain $\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^N $ and $N\geq 1$. We exploit the method which is based on [6]. This method let us obtain the concrete open interval about the parameter $\lambda$. Since the quasilinear term depends on $u$ and $\nabla u$, it is necessary for our proofs to use the theory of monotone operators and the skill of adding one dimension to space.

Abstract:The author studies the structure of solutions to the interface problems for second order linear elliptic partial differential equations in three space dimension.The set of singular points consists of some singular lines and some isolated singular points.It is proved that near a singular line or a singular point,each weak solution can be decomposed into two parts,a singular part and a regular part.The singular parts are some finite sum of particular solutions to some simpler equations,and the regular parts are bounded in some norms,which are slightly weaker than that in the Sobolev space H~2.

Abstract:The existence of three solutions for nonlinear operator equations is established via index theory for linear self-adjoint operator equations, critical point reduction method, and three critical points theorems obtained by Brezis-Nirenberg, Ricceri, and Averna-Bonanno. Applying the results to second-order Hamiltonian systems satisfying generalized periodic boundary conditions or Sturm-Liouville boundary conditions and elliptic partial differential equations satisfying Dirichlet boundary value conditions, we obtain some new theorems concerning the existence of three solutions.

Abstract:It is well-known that in dimensions at least three semilinear wave equations with null conditions admit global solutions for small initial data. It is also known that in dimension two such result still holds for a certain class of quasi-linear wave equations with null conditions. The proofs are based on the decay mechanism of linear waves. However, in one dimension, waves do not decay. Nevertheless, we will prove that small data still lead to global solutions if the null condition is satisfied.

Abstract:In this paper, we study a broad class of fully nonlinear elliptic equations on Hermitian manifolds. On one hand, under the optimal structural assumptions we derive $C^{2,\alpha}$-estimate for solutions of the equations on closed Hermitian manifolds. On the other hand, we treat the Dirichlet problem. In both cases, we prove the existence theorems with unbounded condition.

Abstract:This article establishes the almost global existence of solutions for three-dimensional nonlinear wave equations with quadratic, divergence-form nonlinearities and time-independent inhomogeneous terms. The approach used here can be applied to the system of homogeneous, isotropic hyperelasticity with time-independent external force. The development for the scalar and vector cases will be presented in parallel. We first prove the existence and uniqueness of the stationary solutions. Then it suffices to prove the almost global existence of the original solutions minus the stationary solutions, which is carried out in line with Klainerman and Sideris [8], by using the classical invariance of the equations under translations, rotations and changes of scale.

Abstract:We consider a general class of elliptic equations on hypercomplex manifolds which includes the quaternionic Monge-Ampère equation, the quaternionic Hessian equation and the Monge-Ampère equation for quaternionic $(n-1)$-plurisubharmonic functions. We prove that under suitable assumptions the solutions to these equations on hyperkähler manifolds satisfy a $C^{2,\alpha}$ a priori estimate.

In this paper, we are interested in the following degenerate elliptic Monge–Ampère equation:[math] Under suitable structure conditions on [math], we can show that [math] and the solutions of linearized equation have the same symmetric property as the domain. Moreover, we also achieve some uniqueness results for homogenous nonlinearity [math] ([math]) in general convex domain. Compared to the results in [G. Huang, Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations, 58 (2019), 73], we dispose the "uniformly convex" condition imposed on the domain. With a subtle approximation procedure and variant form of Hopf's lemma, we overcome the technical difficulties caused by the degeneracy of the above equation. What's more, we can also get the uniqueness property for domains whose geometry is close enough to the symmetric convex domain.
